Hello... This is Vee, again.

I currently play Carla (

prosopopoeia) and uuhm. Now I am adding another traumatized woman with dark hair and brown eyes... who speaks French. I swear. The next person I app will break this pattern. Really. I promise.

Anyway, her name is Anna Assaoui she is from the movie Martyrs.

[The director] also comments that the main difficulty other than the technical issues such as special effects was to keep the actresses crying all the time, and that was too demanding.

Which is very gory and traumatizing in a number of ways, and I will be slapping trigger warnings all over things just like I did for Carla when she was first here and freaking out. It will be a bit less public than Carla or Delacroix, since I will be.... dropping her into Ariadne's bedroom.

A few things of note:
A.) Anna will be coming straight from her cell, meaning she has been starved and beaten for god knows how long. She is not currently strong enough to stand on her own two feet, and will be in need of a hospital. Bring to me your doctors, s'il te plait.
B.) That beautiful hair in her icons? The bad guys cut it off. It will take a while to grow back.
C.) No, really, she's traumatized. She will be in need of the most gentle and patient CR. Anyone who may have the skills to teach her how to deal with her inevitable PTSD would be great. She is also in a pretty constant state of grieving over her best friend/sort-of-girlfriend, Lucie Jurin, whose suicide was one of the last things Anna had the pleasure of witnessing before being captured. So. Yeah.
D.) As a general note for future considerations, Anna is a lesbian and I am always game for the exploration of such relationships, if that might be to anyone's fancy. I love me some lady kisses. (...maybe minus the dead bodies this time???)

I played her a bit previously at another game! But it died a sad smoldering death and I really missed her :c

Awww, it's always sad when games die. But, again, kudos. I generally have the tolerance of a long-time horror buff, but this and À l'intérieur were two films that I'm glad I saw, but never want to see again.

I had downloaded À l'intérieur but never got to watch it when my external drive died. sob.

Oh, man, you need to see it. Somehow, someway, it's completely ridiculous in some places, but BRUTAL.

I'M JUST HERE TO SAY I LOVED INSIDE.

It def is ridiculous but I felt it was ridiculous in a self-aware sort of manner, like it wasn't being done in a way to suggest "This could happen to you!!!!"

I do have other character types besides tortured chicks orz sob. They just strangely all ended up collected here.

Good movie. I really like how the violence was handled. Most of it implied, with a few key scenes full brunt. The makers put a lot of thought into the story, how to reach out to the viewer, and avoided "Herschell Gordon Lewis homage".

Got my theory on why the head honcho did what they did at the end.

For some reason, I found myself really drawn to Anna's character after the first time I watched it. I really enjoyed how she was deceptively the main character, despite Lucie being so dominating in the beginning.

The one thing that bug me was WHY she didn't call the cops. Early on, it was established they (and the other nice adults) wanted to help and put a stop to the "abusers".

I get her being in shock at the beginning (hey, who wouldn't be), but after awhile she looked like she had snapped out of it. Things got played out too long there. Spend a few hours to the night in the house, I can buy that. Hang around what feels like the whole frickin weekend in a major crime scene with someone who NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENTION, and in all that time you make a phone call to who??? - NO!!!

OK, I know it's a very important set-up. Guys, should have done some editing to cut down on time passage or add something in about to "112/911", cause I feel like I drove over a pothole.

Gentle? Patient? Doctors?

I feel like I might be able to help with this.

Sadly, I've never seen the movie but she sounds like an interesting character~! =OWO=!

It's pretty traumatizing. It made me cry and my father reported nightmares. Laffo, I feel sort of awkward actually 'recommending' it to people because I would feel bad if they cried too.
