The one thing that bug me was WHY she didn't call the cops. Early on, it was established they (and the other nice adults) wanted to help and put a stop to the "abusers".
I get her being in shock at the beginning (hey, who wouldn't be), but after awhile she looked like she had snapped out of it. Things got played out too long there. Spend a few hours to the night in the house, I can buy that. Hang around what feels like the whole frickin weekend in a major crime scene with someone who NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENTION, and in all that time you make a phone call to who??? - NO!!!
OK, I know it's a very important set-up. Guys, should have done some editing to cut down on time passage or add something in about to "112/911", cause I feel like I drove over a pothole.
