Precautionary Slowatus (or: Why, Computer, Why???)

Sooo... Something amazing and annoying is happening with my keyboard at the moment. All of a suddaaen [sic]. See that? See, if I hit the "D" button for too long or too hard, it comes up with both d and a (daaddaaaaddaa <--for example). This is awesome

I'm thinking this may finally be the hardware failure to end all hardware failures with this computer (hell, it's five years old, at least, and has a busted hinge, a failing ethernet port, no USB capabilities, no CD or DVD capabilities, and a nicked screen, to say nothing of the numberous virus attacks I've endured).

Anyway, just a notice here that, if I vanish or lag or get slow with tags, it's because I'm fed up with this annoyance. Likewise, this whole thing may just mean that my computer is in its daeath [sic] throes andaa [sic] I may vanish until I can wrangle a new machine or a fix for this one. We shall see. I'm not gone, I'm just going "arrrrgh!!" for a bit. I'm still here! It's just taking me longer to type tags and so on.

tl;dr: Caru's computer wants its "Da Da" apparently >:| And if anyone has a fix for this, I'd love to hear it.

This goes for:

DAAAMN [sic] I AM ANNOYEDAA [sic].

As someone who has been typing with a crippled keyboard for several months, I feel your pain. ...Except not really, since I'm not-so-secretly laughing. Is your computer trying to tell you about its childhood trauma?

And what is this about James Joyce and a geis?
