Hey guys! Just a heads up, but it seems like there's a trojan going around LJ. It doesn't seem to be an ad either, since I'm getting junk while on a paid account. Using noscript to turn off javascript on livejournal seems to help, though! My antivirus hasn't thrown a fit since I disabled it, so I think it might be a good fix for the time being.

BUT ANYWAY, please be careful, everyone!

It looks like it's just Avast!, guys. There's nothing actually wrong with LJ! Sorry if I scared anyone. I was just making sure people knew in case there really was something wrong!

No, no, it's cool! I mean, really, even false positives are kind of concerning. But, yes, word on the street is that it's Avast! pitching a fit over some of LJ's Javascrpt.

I was busy trying to figure out how I could post with NoScript blocking Javascript--fail ;;

But all's well that ends well, yes?

Yup!

It's better to be safe than sorry in the case of anything involving viruses anyway. I'm just really glad that there's not something wrong with LJ.
