School's in session and it's time to buckle down and study!

For a quick recap:

17; Fast Times at City High (class)
Citizens are now a part of the network of learning institutions in the City. There's a public school, a private school, a university, and everything in between! Whether citizens are members of the student body or faculty is completely up to you. It's a day before exams so study hard!

18; Fast Times at City High (exams)
The students are put to the test with a series of examinations crafted to perfection by the ~~evil~~ faculty. This is the last challenge they must face before they can claim the true prize!

19; Fast Times at City High (dance)
The spring dance is here, finally a way for everyone, student and teacher, to relax! Dates, dresses, and dances are a’plenty at the celebration in the Square!

In this post is a list of schools that your character will be able to attend: please note that no playable character can take the position of a principal of the school, as that will be filled by a deity! Characters can be teachers, students, or other members of faculty (every school needs a guidance counselor, right?), or even just staff (JANITORS)! The schools will be on campuses that magically show up for the curse!

Your character can also be aged up or down for the duration of this curse, and they're welcome to have elaborate AU backstories that they will think is real for this curse.

The dance on the 19th is City-wide and put on by the deities, so don't worry about it being school-specific. It will take place in the Square with food and drink available, and unaffected characters are welcome to come too!

Campuses will disappear on midnight but small, mundane souvenirs of the schools (like pompoms or corsages) can remain as long as they're not too wild (you cannot keep the school statue!)

Each school will have it's own comment and you can reply with your characters beneath! Plan, plot, make friends, enemies, and enjoy!

You may include details in your single comment about the subject your character is teaching and their teaching style, or you may include your character's year and if they have been at the school or are a transfer, etc. Please try to keep spam in the school threads at a minimum! You may run wild with discussion outside of the school threads, make a new thread to this post at will.

Another note: you do not have to sign up in order to participate in the curse or to have your character at one of these schools! This is purely for ease of reference and organization which some players may find helpful. Have fun!

My thinking for Charlie;

She's that girl that everyone knows to be nice and personable but she has very few friends on purpose. She's a bit of a prankster but nothing harmful. She's also a very hard-working student. Excels at almost everything except Phys. Ed. She sucks out loud at that.

I would not mind, for her:
--> People she just doesn't get along with for whatever reason.
--> People she's been friends with since FOREVER!
--> The guy that has a crush on her that she's totally oblivious to.
--> Ex boyfriends. Doesn't matter if they're from a different school.

Offering him up as an ex-boyfriend of sorts, if you're interested? It says up there what kind of person he is, though, so it probably either wasn't all that serious or ended kind of painful for her.

I'm fine with 'not that serious'. Probably a summer fling since he's from a different school.

Sounds excellent! He'll hit on her when he sees her around.

This is the most amazing thing. I love it. She'll smirk and eyeroll and half-assedly flirt back.

Fun shall be had by all!

I like to hope they're that rare summer fling that stayed friends after. But that might just be me.

I can totally see that, as long as she did't get clingy or emotional or anything on him. They can be bros. Who flirt. With the occasional UST. And maybe some ST every now and then.

The occasional. And ffff this girl? Get clingy and emotional? Seriously? Hardly ever. She's pretty even with emotions to the point of "Gives No Fucks."

Offering up Rapunzel to be Charlie's BFF/coworker, perhaps? I could see them not exactly travelling in the same social circles, but met during some sort of shared thing, like a coincidental meeting at the library, or a group project, or work...

Part of me wants to maybe have Rapunzel be a transfer student as well, transferring from the private all girls school...so she's terrible with guys as well. Charlie could be her wise, all knowing mentor pal.

Oh she will totally help...even though she had a summer fling/has no clue about guys other than that fling.

It's more than Punzie's had. This is her first time in a school with guys, I'm gonna have her be homeschooled for a while, then all girl's school, THEN private school.

Oh, Punzie you sheltered thing. That's okay, bb. Charlie has you.

Teach her the ways of your people.

...you realize this means teaching her how to play hookie at LEAST once.

Hey! Just wanted to ask if it was all right if Aion knows Charlie? How is up to you. I'm game for being that person who she doesn't get along with or someone she's known since elementary school and is on ok terms!

Here's Aion's little history to give you an idea. Pretty much the delinquent of the school.

I'm awesome with them knowing each other since elementary school! SHe'd kinda lineface at his extra-curricular activities but probably not try to do much to prevent any of it.
