SCHOOL'S OUT ---- no, wait that's wrong.
School's in session and it's time to buckle down and study!
For a quick recap:
17; Fast Times at City High (class)
Citizens are now a part of the network of learning institutions in the City. There's a public school, a private school, a university, and everything in between! Whether citizens are members of the student body or faculty is completely up to you. It's a day before exams so study hard!
18; Fast Times at City High (exams)
The students are put to the test with a series of examinations crafted to perfection by theevil faculty. This is the last challenge they must face before they can claim the true prize!
19; Fast Times at City High (dance)
The spring dance is here, finally a way for everyone, student and teacher, to relax! Dates, dresses, and dances are a’plenty at the celebration in the Square!
In this post is a list of schools that your character will be able to attend: please note that no playable character can take the position of a principal of the school, as that will be filled by a deity! Characters can be teachers, students, or other members of faculty (every school needs a guidance counselor, right?), or even just staff (JANITORS)! The schools will be on campuses that magically show up for the curse!
Your character can also be aged up or down for the duration of this curse, and they're welcome to have elaborate AU backstories that they will think is real for this curse.
The dance on the 19th is City-wide and put on by the deities, so don't worry about it being school-specific. It will take place in the Square with food and drink available, and unaffected characters are welcome to come too!
Campuses will disappear on midnight but small, mundane souvenirs of the schools (like pompoms or corsages) can remain as long as they're not too wild (you cannot keep the school statue!)
Each school will have it's own comment and you can reply with your characters beneath! Plan, plot, make friends, enemies, and enjoy!
You may include details in your single comment about the subject your character is teaching and their teaching style, or you may include your character's year and if they have been at the school or are a transfer, etc. Please try to keep spam in the school threads at a minimum! You may run wild with discussion outside of the school threads, make a new thread to this post at will.
Another note: you do not have to sign up in order to participate in the curse or to have your character at one of these schools! This is purely for ease of reference and organization which some players may find helpful. Have fun!

Co-ed university; high standards and the only one around

More details are kind of expounded on here because I liked what I came up with back then. But basically Demyx is:
-A music major
-A percussion in the band
-A not-so-secret sitar enthusiast/advocate
-Captain of the swim team (this year)
-Really bad at studying for classes he doesn't like
-Up for plotting and CR and intricate headcanons of backgrounds

I'm waiting to hear back from Mici on how old Steve is going to be because I'm pretty sure the plan is for Rosella and Cap to be HILARIOUS SIBLINGS this time around, but depending on where he fits in she'll either be at Ohtori or at the university (or at Ohtori but taking university classes?).
...Really I should probably just start a subthread under the spam section and get all relevant parties in there because I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS HAPPENING but it is presumably going to be massively interconnected and hilarious.

Obviously, we might have to tweak some of that to accommodate for the changes to her backstory that throwing Steve in will cause, but it's looking like they're going to be adopted siblings of some variety, so most of her background will probably be the same? I think we could actually make either age of Cain's work--either he's at school with them or she's Dating A College Man and this is scandalous but she doesn't care because he's attractive.
And they could always be, like...that couple who's gotten together and broken up like five times and maybe not even the greatest for each other but you know what the UST is flagrant and makes it all worthwhile.

Re: City University
I don't know, exactly, but he's a Russian import, he's seventeen, and he's studying physics. Theoretical physics. (The deity trade is still in effect so, although he'll know he's from Russia, he still won't know the specifics or anything about his home country. I don't know how this will work, either, but it will.)

Doc is basically the most excited, enthusiastic science teacher in the known world. If your character is in his class and shows an active interest? Oh man, he'll love them. His classes are spirited discussions about the importance of scientific discovery and how important it is to push the limits of the field, sprinkled in amongst the presentation of all the equations and theories.
Oh.
And the word "impossible" is strictly forbidden in his classroom.

Raphael has been deaged a few millenia to be a pre-med student in his junior year (which means he looks about the same), majoring, predictably, in biology. He comes from a wealthy but hopelessly estranged family that cut him off, so he works part-time at the school bookstore and gets irritated anytime anyone suggests buying the textbook online. While he's not much for drinking and parties, he has a horrible reputation regardless and is purportedly sleeping with most of his female TAs and half of his female professors. .... Not that they're to blame for his (excellent) grades, no, what are you talking about.
I'm open to plotting/backstory-meshing/etc. of any kind as long as everyone's aware in advance that I'll have to do some backtagging, since I'm kind of going to be on vacation for part of this, woe. =( But I didn't want to miss out!

Mamma Crawford left Mae quite the inheritance when she passed away, which means she can afford the education and living in her very own loft. Instead of being one of those pretentious poor little rich girls, however, she is a hard worker and very studious. She's just studying Philosophy and Literature (in any shape, size, or origin) for the time being, because it's her first year at the University and she's still undecided as to what she wants to do.
A little bit more background: aside from being a flirt, which you already know, and being funny, which you should already know -- she has a little brother, but since he was underaged, he was taken in by their father and his wife and second family, for which Mae resents him to no end. She'll be missing Jamie like crazy, but that will not stop her from having her share of fun, when she can.

If it's alright, I'd like for him to be humanized into a young adult for this. For the sake of convenience if nothing else.
And since he's into body mods, I imagine he'd be one of those people who's really into piercings all over is face in addition to tattoos.
And of course, he's always up for dorm parties and lots of drinking.

Percy is a junior at the local uni, double majoring in political science (his true passion) and business (because that's where the money is). He's there on a scholarship for academics because he worked his ass off in high school. He continues to work his ass off in college, but also finds time for the student government association and the debate club.
And yes, he does drink a lot of coffee.
