Okay, I hate to do this right after bringing in a new character (and not having even introduced him ICly yet), but I have to call a semi-hiatus from tomorrow night (Eastern time) until October 10. I will finish extant threads, but slowly, and I will intro Haymitch tomorrow, but...yeah. Going to be busy for a while!

♦ ofherfirstfur will be lurking around, sprawling in the sun, showing up at the Hymns of Lorelei to take care of scraps. That sort of thing. No one gets godmode rights because she is a cat.
♦ icingkills will be bribing Seishirou with sweets to get him to smoke outside and cautiously exploring the Underground with April. Godmode rights to Seishirou's player and April's player if they need it, but contact me over AIM (Annwyd Hates you) for anything major.
♦ rebounded will show up tomorrow. Then he will probably be quiet for a while because he'll be drunk.

So, you may have noticed that I pretty much have not existed for 2+ months! I sort of. Dropped the ball on a lot of things. And then time passed and I was like, , and then I do this thing where I get really afraid and ashamed of dropping the ball and I can't even look at where it's happened, and then suddenly I'VE LOST CAT AND MISSED CREW INTROS BY MONTHS AND IT'S IMPOSSIBLE

and then i'm like

but i actually still love you guys so much that I can't... quite... let go. SO I'M SORRY AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO BUT HELLO GOODBYE goodnight.

(And that is why I've been gone. Yeah. Gee, if I wasn't about to lose him to inactivity too, I think Asch would eviscerate me before raegquitting.)

28-29; Poly's Ark
The Deities have warned that the City will soon be flooded like never before! To save themselves, Citizens must band together to build a large ark out of local materials in order to stay afloat. The catch: everything on the boat, including Citizens themselves, must be in declared pairs. Two pyrokinetics, two assassin children, two...you get the idea! If you want to save yourself, make a creative pair and get on board. [There will be more information about this curse as we move closer to the date!]

As the curse states, now we'll go into those promised details by dates!

( The Rowdown )

There are no curses on Oct 1 or Oct 2. The first curse for October will fall on Oct 3.

The mod team will post two open logs on tampered; one for characters on the ark and another for the wrecksite, for anyone who wishes to use them ♥

Now for the organization part of this post: pairings!

No not those kinds of pairings...or do those count? Either way this is where you can offer up a character to be one of a pair to board the ark. It can be something as basic as brown hair and what would separate one brunette pair from another can be one brunette pair has green eyes while the other brunette pair has blue eyes. Honestly no one is going to be double checking to make sure every single pair is completely different from another, the Deities just want your characters on the boat already. Characters who are not cursed can still board the ark (ex. Character A is cursed and Character B is not cursed, but B wants to make sure A doesn't get hurt on the ark, so B boards with A), however uncursed characters will still be subjected to being stuck in the wreck site for the duration of the event!

I completely underestimated moving. Not only has it somehow absconded with the vast majority of September, it's still going.

But there is internet, my new desk and my faithful computer all transported and nestled into its new home. So with that happy development, I am going to tentatively announce my gradual return.

I adore Ion to death but it has been a loooong time since I've really done anything with him, which is just... wrong since he'd care so much about everything that happens here.
