S'up, Poly!

I've been meaning to do this for awhile, and since there's never a "good" time in the City, I'm just gonna do it now.

As of tonight NOW, Rachel Summers has left the City. She finished her shift at the Lux, started walking home and never got there. Full apologies to Anita, the timing sucks, Rachel will totally make it up to her when she comes back in time for the grab-bag. She may come back DURING the grab-bag, only the Muse knows.

Which brings me to that. When she comes back it will be updated to the end of the Emperor Vulcan mini series (because I need new icons, dammit). What does this mean for Marvels "favorite" red-head?

Mom's side of the family massacred? Check.
Death mark on her back? Check.
Murdered paternal grandfather? Check.
Homicidal Emperor uncle? Check.
Another uncle and teammates captured by homicidal grandfather-killing uncle? Check.
Phoenix echo? Check.
Angst? What the hell do you think?

I'll be finishing up tags with anyone I'm in progress with and of course my other pups (Romana, Bobby and Mara) are around for the duration.

I'm sorry for being absent too long School is a big drag and all that, but I'm back and ready to get going yeah~

Semi-hiatus for a few days. There's a problem with a friend's pregnancy and she's in the hospital for a couple days, so I'm going to be largely unavailable due to babysitting and cooking and generally trying to make life easier for her family while they wait this out.

I might be around for a few tags, but with the emotional stress and trying to help out wherever I can, it's not going to be reliable or even at regular hours, most likely. So I see you guys have a bunch of rebooted Star Trek: The Original Series characters from the movie. That's pretty cool.

On to the next order of business: tomorrow's curse, and Aigis's role in it.

Tomorrow, as the circus curse continues, Aigis--a robot from a game with lots of Tarot symbolism--is going to be a coin-operated fortune-telling device, reading a character's Tarot for two Reds a pop. This can go one of two ways!

One: if you fill out the form below and comment here, I can do my best to whip up a Tarot reading full of symbolism about your character. Please note: there will be no concrete information about the future presented here, just philosophical ponderings for your enjoyment as a player (and possibly for your character to muse on later). Aigis isn't a seer; she just comes from a canon that relies on the Tarot a lot. Also note: while the cards may say something insightful about your character, Aigis herself will be pretty clueless and won't even realize the implications of most of what she's saying.

Two: if you comment on tomorrow's post spontaneously, I'll come up with your character's reading on the spot and try to make some sense of it anyway. This adds a certain element of randomness to the whole deal. Sure, Character A's reading may say something alarmingly insightful about their inner spirit, but Character B's reading is ridiculous. What do you believe?

If you end up missing this post but still want a more meaningful reading for your character, or if you change your mind at the last minute, just indicate it OOCly when you comment tomorrow. This post just gives me more time to prepare.
