So... Poly. It's that time again: the time when those of us still trying to get our edjumacations must pack up all our worldy possessions and traverse the wild, treacherous highways of land, sea, and sky to return to the realm of enlightenment and learning.

My journey begins this Thursday, August 14th, at which time I will be picking up and leaving my humble abode and moving some miles away to live in a musty old dorm (OK, maybe not musty) with someone else (whom I have met before and approve of, thankfully). Thus, I will be very busy moving in and adjusting to sharing a room (which I did not last semester).

So, from now until about...Saturday, I am claiming a hiatus which I will probably break because I have no self-control, orz. Just a heads up that I will be probably not be on much (if at all) until then and that I might be scarce even after that since classes start on the 18th, and I will have TONS to do. @_@

 O HAI EVERYONE!

So, I love Poly, and I love interacting with people, and so far I've found all the muns here to be pretty darn awesome ^^

Problem is.... I'm having problems interacting x.x

So..... I've been considering what I'm going to do with my characters :/  I doesn't seem very fair to ask people I've been playing with to stay up super late, and there's not much I can do about work after all. I  just don't really know how well I can keep up wth everyone ^^;;

Wanted: one sane wizard. Solution: update. Felix is going home to be glued back together. He left in the small hours of the morning and will be gone for a few days. This update should take him far enough through his canon to return him to the City as angst-free and mentally stable as possible. That means he'll be an insufferable jerk when he gets back. ♥

First off, immense apologies to anyone who I'd agreed to curse my kids with and consequently failed hard to follow on for Handcuff Day. I feel terrible about missing the curse-- I'd cursed almost all of my kids and could only follow up on one of them. Yeah, I just... I'm really sorry.

But secondly, I do in fact have a legitimate excuse for this. Two days ago--I think it's two days ago, anyway, although I really have no sense of time right now--I got a pretty bad case of what I think was food poisoning (because, well, my whole family came down with it). Ralphing through the night, you get the idea. I just managed to have solid food for the first time in over a day, and my fever's going down, so feeling well enough to pop on here to explain.

I'm really, really sorry.

Erm, yeah. Probably a waste of space on tldr but this does explain my absence for now and my possible semi-absence over the next couple of days. ._.;

Well, this shouldn't come as a big surprise to anyone, but I'm going to go ahead and drop Polnareff. I thought I could handle a game the size of Poly, but apparently not. It was fun while it lasted, though, and maybe I'll come back with another character when I'm less busy.

Yeah. I am SO sorry for being this lame, but I am dropping Sands as of today.

We aren't getting on. At all. I still love his character and if I hadn't had Chikane, I would have tried getting better instead of doing this. As it is, my muse simply isn't strong enough.

So, the thing about dropping characters is that as soon as you do it, you keep thinking about all the plots you were going to do with them and all the things you could have done, but never did.

orz And then sometimes you realize you just dropped the characters that were easiest to comment around with for you and you realize that every time you scroll through the Poly flist.

So, not the shortest drops ever, but killing_sweep? worldlike? Are back. Just... canon-updating on both of them for a bit longer as I work some things out cast-wise.

However, since the Jojo's cast is going, I'll be letting go of Dio (h- hanging onto Doppio for a bit longer, because I'd miss his crazy self), too, so:

Say hello to Al from FMA. I understand that the last one in the city was animeverse, but as I haven't actually watched the anime (oops!), I'm taking him from chapter 80ish of the manga. This means... he'll still be a giant 7-foot-tall walking suit of armor.

As much as I hate to have to do so, I need to take a hiatus. Not because of anything happening in my day to day like, more related to my own activities in game. I'm having a hell of a time with actual character interaction lately, and that bugs me to no end, so I'm going to back off and take some time to evaluate things and do some major re-reading to work on it.

Coming with me are:

William Conrad - plant_doctor (Crew has god-mod rights, just don't kill him.)
Barry the Chopper - imachopyou (God-mod rights to Hawkeye-mun when she gets back.)

They'll both still be in the City, obviously. I'll be back at the end of the month at the latest, but I hope to be back before then.
