Also, since it looks like Tosh has implied in an entry that Owen isn't at the mini-hub, I'm gonna say he was wandering around the city (It's a big place after all, no?) getting lost learning his way around, hating on inanimate objects, and avoiding the team for a while.

This is Patera Silk from The Book of the Long Sun.. He fell off a donkey and landed in the City, and is more than a bit confused by the fact. So please do that thing you do and add silk_for_calde~
I put together a bit of info on his world here, since it's not particularly well-known and a little weird... Though if your kids ask in-character he will be happy to talk your ears off about, well, anything.

Anyhoo I will be introing him tomorrow, mostly because it was Wednesday by his calendar when he left and I'm a little OCD like that >_> cheers!

Once upon a time, there was a girl and her magic mirror which was really a portal to her mind and her Emotions and creepy, four-eyed ravens and all that fun stuff. Then a certain monster hunter/surrogate big brother came along and thought it'd be a good idea to ... inspect said mirror in the girl's absence. Various hijinx ensue, during which the mirror gets broken and the Emotions within Run Loose.

So, what does this mean for you, fellow Citizens?

WELL.

This Thursday, the 14th of August, Raven's various emotions (Happy, Friendship, Courage, Knowledge, Timid, etc.) will be loose in the City. There will be a post going up in her journal about it, and if you so choose, you can:

1) COMMENT.
2) GET JUMPED BY A HYPERACTIVE/COWERING/KICK-YOUR-ASS RAVEN.
3) LET CHAOS/CONFUSION ENSUE.
4) PROFIT.

All the various Ravens will probably come attached with an Annoyed Blue-Cloaked Raven chasing them down. And by the morning of the 15th, they'll all be absorbed once again into Nevermore.

Heyyy, a really quick heads up--

Just here to post an indefinite hiatus for Jamie (a.k.a Mwu, Rabi, Peony, and Joshua) because apparently she lost her internets and until she gets her some tech supports, won't be back.

Oh, I expect some of you might have seen this coming.. still. No regrets, hey?

Before I simply hadn't got enough time to devote to such a fast moving and exciting RPG as this, but I clung on and just made the minimum required. I was juggling classes and the catering I run out of my house.. yes, yes, excuses.

I've had more time for online roleplay, but I find I've not got much of a muse to play her; instead I've been in another, slower moving RP where I got asked to take up Dr. Greg House, and I've been enjoying working with that muse very much.

Long story short, it's been lovely here. I really rather wish I'd had more of an opportunity to bond with the other Gaiman universe character players; DeliriumMUN, I think I shall miss you most of all. We had some interesting comment spams over the year or so I've been around.

Anyway. I think the thing I found most delightful about polychromatic, other than reading some of the creative and innovative logs between the characters whose storylines I liked following, is the curses calender. Even though some were rehashes/revisits to old favourites, it must take a lot of planning and wild think-tanking/plotbunnying to bring a fun calender to the players each month. Kudos to you all for that, and keep on bringing it. ;-)

It was great seeing you all at Otakon. I'm sort of back, but uh, now I have to pack up and move to Pittsburgh /o/. So I am extending the hiatus thing until next Monday (I will comment as much as possible when I'm not making tearful farewells and putting stuff in boxes, though, and maybe even post -- so I've downgraded to only-sort-of-hiatus).

Yup I know it's a little early, but I'm back from my trip to the beach!

Although it's generally mostly okay my seasonal asthma was being badly aggravated by the beach, and although I was fine last week, for some reason it was playing up badly the last couple of days. So I came back home early to give everyone else a break from my coughing, and have a relaxing few days at home by myself from work!

I'll be bringing Ianto Jones (king_coffee) back with me, so expect him back in the City soon.

I MISSED YOU ALL. That's why I came back early rly >_>

Ah, basically moving to the other side of the world on Friday August 15th and starting job training. Need some time to pack, say goodbyes, and adjust and ...I don't know when I'm going to have internet again /)_(\ I'm told my apartment has wireless, so hopefully I'll be able to use it and come back sooner. I don't know yet, so I'm going to say indefinite hiatus at the moment.

It's hard to believe it's been over two years since I first joined Poly. During that time I've been amazed by how much it's grown and how very much fun I've had.

Yumie here was the first character I joined with, and, though I love her dearly, the combination of an unkind canon and unkind City events have taken their toll on the muse while real life issues have frequently made to it difficult to keep up with things. So, I've decided it's finally time to let her rest.
