Nix here. I’m finally picking up a second character, a rune (or, more specifically, wraith) named Kal Anubis. What exactly is a rune? Well, that can turn into an epic explanation, but at it’s most basic it means ceasing to age and having psychokinesis. It also means Kal can sense if someone or something is non-human (and have a vague idea of what they are), so he will probably mistake other characters with abilities as—say hello to more of his world’s jargon—demirunes or demiwights. Confusion ahoy.

Notably, Kal is a therianthrope or shape-shifter. His original form is that of a raiju, but he currently prefers wandering around as a middle school kid. I know, he’s weird. Especially since he’s actually very, very old; hundreds of thousands of years, at the very least. Characters who can sense that there’s something off about him are free to harass.

But yes! Hover over tempushorizon, friend add tempushorizon here, or do whatever it is you prefer.

Sorry to do this guys, but I need to pull a hiatus. Things to take care of that kind of need my full attention this week.

Now, the character hiatus is for Walter dark_butler and Pup wee_hellpuppy. I've been so slammed by work and modding and such that I haven't been playing as much and I'm pretty out of the loop with these two, who know so many people and are generally so involved.

So they're going... away. Walter's going to get a taste of his afterlife, which will be pretty much nothingness, and Pup will get to go back to being what he was before summoned here. They'll be back on Wednesday.

Until Wednesday, they do not exist in the City. They'll be back then. Until then, I'll be able to focus more on my other three characters. They aren't as stitched into City life, so it's easier for them to be absent more. However, if you want/need something from Dorian, Doc, or Rincewind, I'm almost always in IM, give me a poke and we'll get something going. &hearts
