Okay, maybe not quite like tha -

...oh... kay. So, there's the Versailles curse coming up this weekend, and of course that meaaaaaaaans: drama. Costumes. And exceedingly pink pastries (among other things).

So just comment with whatever plans you have for your characters: will they be part of the grand aristocracy, the working staff, revolutionaries, mere courtiers working their way through ranks, ambassadors? What are their plots and plans, and more importantly, whom else can you drag into it? Put down if your character needs some help (a lady might need a personal attendant, for instance, a palace guard commander might require his subordinates, etc) as well!

Just have fun with it, hur hur.

Righto! That'll work really well, actually. The general backstory is here (http://poly-tldr.livejournal.com/1890120.html?thread=51077448#t51077448) if you want to take a look at what we've got going so far, but the gist of it is, we're all from a tiny foreign kingdom (of which Rosella is the princess) trying to score points at Versailles because pretty soon there's going to be a transition of power and we're looking for support from the bigshots so we don't get mowed down in the period of instability between kings.

Thus, copious amounts of schmoozing and plenty of room for guards to be B| at anyone acting untoward in the general direction of their princess.

Oh also does Zuko actually have a surname? If not we can dub him something, but he'll be Sir Zuko Somethingorother, knight of Daventry for the duration. o/

He has no surname :( we'll have to think up a fancy schmancy name :)

It took me five minutes to figure out how that was funny this afternoon when I was able to sneak a peek at this comment, (I kept saying, Mal, like from Firefly?) and I got it when I was downstairs, and had to hide my face from laughing.

I just got back now. It is still hilarious.

Not gonna lie, half the reason I picked 'Mal' as an abbreviation was because of the Firefly reference on top of it.

But it all works so perfectly that I couldn't resist.

I wouldn't put anything so amazing past you. I'd say that poor Hammer will never get Rosella to think about his name correctly, but he's a dick, so I don't feel bad at all.
