Sad as it makes me, it's time to face the truth: I've never really found Tavi's voice and it's been a bit of a struggle to tag around with him (which is why I, y'know, didn't). I wanted, very badly, to do him justice, but since I can't... I'm dropping him.

....I hate it when characters do that. You desperately want to play them but they just....don't...quite...come. It's for the best in the end, usually, but I'm sorry anyway.

That says it better than I could've expressed it. I love Tavi so much and he's such a great character, but I just... can't seem to find his voice. I mean. I've tried and still. Nada.

I've had it happen about four times before and it's always upsetting. Doesn't mean you won't work it out eventually someday, though! I mean, I want to try again with Daisy from Spaced. Maybe do a more intense rewatch. Hope it comes. But a break from trying is generally for the best, yeah.

Maybe someday.... But for now, I think it's best if I just leave him be. He clearly didn't want to play along >.>
