Uh, hi!

pridefall here -- some of you might know me, and some of you might not! _{But that's okay, because I'm totally up to meeting new people.}

Anyway, I doubt many people know the canon; but, here's

memoricide Beleren, of Magic: The Gathering fame. His hobbies include traveling between dimensions, learning everything he possibly can, tempting fate, and letting every femme-fatal and elder dragon he's ever met get the better of him. He's also a fairly powerful mage and a telepath -- the latter of which I've slapped up a permissions post for since he does like to poke and prod when he really shouldn't, and I really don't want to read on any toes.

So, friend add memoricide and expect an intro post when I'm not neck deep in Spanish Lit.

Yeah, the canon the card game gets is actually...pretty involved, since each new edition brings with it a new world event, new characters, and new -- basically everything for people to really dig in to! You can't throw a stick into M:TG anymore without hitting a new planeswalker popping up xD

Wow, I really didn't know that. I only ever really paid attention to playing the game than any of the other stuff. How do you follow the stories and characters through the new additions? By the novels?

Through the novels and the new line of webcomics they're releasing, yeah. It's either that, or trawl through the mtg: salvation wiki and see what I've missed.

Watch me attempt to go and earn some geek cred here--Jace is the Planeswalker who uses blue magic, right? Counter and control and all that?

He's more on the illusion side of things, but yeah, that's essentially him! _{The other one is Tezzeret, who uses artifacts. Never mention him and Jace in the same breath.}

Ahahaha, okay! Some of my friends are REALLY into Magic, and Jace is one of the names that comes up pretty consistently because they all like blue decks. So I'm mostly going off knowledge via hearsay and osmosis.

Meanwhile, I am fundamentally terrible at Magic but deal with it.

Yeah, he is legitimately one of the most powerful cards in circulation, so most competitive decks run at least two of his first or second versions -- which, incidentally, is how I got the itch to play him in the first place xD My friend has this amazing deck set around him, and one day he was like: "You know he has a book, right?"

So I read it, and here I am.
