Hi! I'm back from Northern Ontario (8 hour driiiive: I'm a bit loopy) and with me are
The Master (neverendingbeat)
Chris (justcautious)
and Mike (laughs_for_two). (If anyone can teach me how to do the thing where the name of your character IS the link to the journal with the username dealy, I'd much appreciate it.)

I canoed (for the first time) and looked at trees and rocks (and rocks and trees) and felt very, very patriotic. They were very large impressive rocks, so.
Also, my arms hurt now because I'm a super pansy but that shan't stop me from tagging.

Anyway, hullo again! Did I miss anything?

And thanks! I spent a whole day (while my friend and her family were at a wedding) rewatching The IT Crowd and taking notes. I'm up to Series 3 Episode 3. Just. So you know.

I spent like 12 hours yesterday/today watching the bloody commentaries and taking notes. I think I just about killed myself. Just so you know. XD

COMMENTARIES? Well crap. Now I feel obliged to match the same level of commitment to the cause. It's fine. After I do my rewatch I'll rent the DVDs.

Seriously, you don't learn all that much from them. I just love Graham Linehan's commentaries for Father Ted, so I decided to be insane. The only really useful thing I can think of for Roy is that he's essentially a self-insert. Of course, my notes weren't for him, so maybe I'm forgetting stuff.

Another thing I learned from that commentary; Roy has a website based on Glinner's blog (http://whythatsdelightful.wordpress.com/2008/12/13/what-roy-was-actually-looking-at-tonight/). It was on the screen one ep, but he couldn't write it in.

But, yeah. Being lazy with Roy would be IC. I have to be insanely OCD with Moss because he is pretty OCD. Although after listing all his quirks, I realise they're going to be a nightmare to actually fit in his personality without sounding either really, really boring or really, really ridiculous. Or both. XD

......someday I need to get back into Twitter. Maybe when TweetDeck stops lagging my computer horrendously. OH THE THINGS I WILL BE ABLE TO DO ONCE I START LIVING IN THE TECHNOLOGICAL PRESENT. His blog is basically just the stuff he posts on Twitter anyway. I...don't often read the srs bsns other-blog he has.

But think how useful that would be! "Trust me. I know what I'm talking about. You should let me play Moss."

Twitter's seriously the only reason I have any idea what's going on in the real world. Thank you, @variousBBCnewstwitters. I'm so dependent on it, it's kind of ridiculous. XD

That would make the best app ever. Except now I've actually written a really long personality I guess I might as well include it. Also, I'm just watching some LoM and then I'll actually be able to tag you. Those commentaries seriously slaughtered my Ray!voice.

They'd best design some. They'd have a massive market for the stuff.

Once I actually have it we will have to try and be on it at the same time some time.

Uh....they are doing "my brother and dad broke the CD drive on the only computer we own so no CD games can be played until they fix it which may never happen". Last I played, Ray and his GF totally ignored the baby ALL THE TIME so looking after it was left entirely up to Chris because he didn't have to be forced endlessly to do it. I may kick out the girlfriend AND her baby once I play again. And I still need to check whether Gene has a random kid. I may have misinterpreted but it would be hilarious if he did. Man these Sims pop out babies like nobody's business.
