Hiatus

Hey, guys. Got a nasty fake anti-virus software virus on my machine. Great thing to wake up to. Both Spybot and my Anti-virus software couldn't find and destroy it, so I'm either going to have to wait for technical help or finally get a new computer.

I have some use of the machine I'm currently on, but it's not mine, so my activity is going to dwindle severely for awhile.

That said, I'm going to have to call full hiatus for:

This could be a few days, if my bro can help me fix this. Or it could be a couple weeks if I need a new computer.

Rather than get a new computer... there is the option of just doing a clean wipe on your system. You'll lose anything you stored on it such as pics or whatnot, but it will also destroy the virus and give you back a fully workable computer. Last resort, but it works great~

Yeah, I've been preparing for that, if it does need to happen (saving stuff over to my external HD). The computer itself is reaching the end of its life, though. I've been having numerous problems with it that have nothing to do with viruses. That's why I've considered throwing in the towel and getting a new one if my bro can't fix it.
