canon update
So, I'm going to go ahead and canon bump Eric to the end of ep 3x02. I couldn't resist updating anymore. This season is too awesome for him not to be bumped up. Let's just say he was gone from the City for a few hours (no more than 12) and now he's back. So, he's been gone for a bit in canon time, by maybe a week or so, but it's only been a few hours in City time.
So, Sookie, he'll probably end up being a bit more open with certain things and totally confused about what he might feel for you. And of course, Godric will be treated the same as always, with the utmost loyalty and respect, etc. Feel free to have either of them notice he's gone from the City for those few hours. :)
