Annnd Meredy's back with Quickie! I'll be reintro-ing her after I make this post.

And as promised, the specifics of the battle log for the Dhaos plot. It will be taking place on April 30th in the Kingdom of Sand in Building 7, Apartment 113.

If you've already read this, please re-read as there have been a few edits everyone should be aware of!

BATTLE LOG;

In the log there will be 5 different threads. They will be as follows. Each thread has requirements to move on to the next thread, since you simply can't jump from the monsters to Dhaos. That just wouldn't be fun ♥ Think of this as a perilous dungeon with encounters but a pretty low encounter rate. You can go it alone or in groups. You will fight one to two monsters per thread.

Outer Army:

This is the thinnest part of Dhaos' army - the part the farthest away from him. You absolutely have to post here. I will be replying with Dhaos' account but it will be a monster that you're fighting, not Dhaos. The requirements are:
1 character - 5 comments all together from attacker and monster
2 characters - 10 comments all together from attackers and monster
3 characters - 15 comments all together from attackers and monster

Middle of Army:

Again, this is absolutely required that you post to. Again, I'll be replying with Dhaos' account to fight your characters, but it will be a monster that's attacking. Now that you're in the middle of Dhaos' army, there are a lot more monsters. So of course, more comments! Once you've met the minimum, you can move on to the next thread. Requirements are:
1 character - 10 comments all together from attacker and monster
2 characters - 20 comments all together from attackers and monster
3 characters - 30 comments all together from attackers and monster

Inner Army:

Of course, you'll be required to post here as well if you want to move on to Dhaos. Again, I'll be replying with Dhaos' account as a monster. However, the monsters here will be stronger, as they will be minibosses. They won't fall easily, so I need you to make it believable to me. Also, Dhaos may hit your character up mentally here and ask some philosophical questions. Requirements are:
1 character - 15 comments all together from attacker and monster
2 characters - 30 comments all together from attackers and monster
3 characters - 45 comments all together from attackers and monster

DHAOS:

So you've torn your way through Dhaos' army and now you've reached the very one who declared war. He's been waiting for you.

When you reach Dhaos, you will do so in pairs or groups of three or, if you're the Phantasia cast, all together. Dhaos will take you on in groups at this point.

If you only have physical attacks, you're shit out of luck. Dhaos is a godmoder against anything that isn't explicitly magic. He has a barrier that cannot be penetrated otherwise, unless it's by the Eternal Sword. And Dhaos is no fruitcake, mind you, he's not going to be felled easily. As a man who canonically destroys cities, please don't expect him to be a push over like his monsters ♥ I would also like to encourage that characters get hurt here, to keep it real. If you've got magic, it's going to hurt him, but imagine him as a boss that has millions upon millions of HP. However, your magic will not kill him. Because Dhaos can only be killed in one way. Which is by the Eternal Sword. The threads here will go on as long as we keep them up, there are no requirements.

THE FINAL BLOW:

THIS IS WHERE YOU GET TO CAST YOUR MOST POWERFUL MAGIC ON DHAOS. EVERYONE. ALL AT THE SAME TIME. I ENCOURAGE IT LIKE YOU HAVE NO IDEA.

But only if you made it to Dhaos through the thread succession!

And then, in the midst of all this casting and such, whackadhaos and thecoffeeisalie will go in for the final blow with the Eternal Swords.

Cue Dhaos' final speech and him disappearing.

Also, HEALERS. If I could get some of you to be running through threads where people are injured and healing them, that would be fabulous! I will be doing so with hweeeeeel , but I'm sure she can't get to everyone :>

SO NOW. We need our GROUPS.

This is where all of you decide who you're going to face off on Dhaos with. Or, if you want to go solo for it, be my guest. Just post here and let me know! Talk amongst yourself and I'll get around to you to make sure I know who is with who and such.

Okay... hopefully I'm reading in to this correctly, but I'll sign up to do the Inner Army post, most likely in a thread alone... unless someone else wants to join me. So unless someone decides to jump on the bandwagon with me in particular, that's 15 for my thread in particular, right?

If you want to get up to the Inner Army post, you'll have to go through both the Outer Army post and the Middle of Army posts first. Think of it as a succession through each and you have to meet requirements to get to the next stage. So it'll be 5 posts on the Outer Army, 10 posts on Middle of Army, and then 15 posts for Inner Army if you're going in alone.

I hope that makes sense.

Uhhh, Ryoutarou can stick it out to the end. WORK HIS WAY THROUGH AND STUFF, and help with the final attack by Rider Kicking it.

Chiqui gets to make the decisions with the fight, though, since all Ryoutarou does is talk while the Imagin are fighting with his body.

Hi there,

Wow! We have admire your enthusiasm for the confrontation between the valiant warriors who dare to go up against Dhaos and the monsters. They have been pesky lately, haven't they? However, we have noticed a few things.

First of all, having an account for the monsters makes them not NPCs. We would much prefer it if the monsters were simply played as NPCs by the players with no special account made for them. May we suggest instead that, because Dhaos is calling and controlling the monsters, the NPC monster comments be made with Dhaos's account, with the understanding that they are the actions of the NPC monsters.

Second, we're concerned about the notion of the "monster army." We had been under the impression that there would be only a few monsters--a greater concentration than had been seen in the City thus far, but not hundreds of thousands of them. Please remember that powers are dampened down in the City, so the power to call monsters would also be weaker. If you were thinking of 50 to 100 monsters, that would be an increase from the number we had been expecting, but still okay. But we're not sure that hundreds of thousands of monsters is acceptable in this plot.

But, especially, we'd really like for you to specify where this battle is taking place. As of right now, it sounds like this battle is taking place in the City when we were under the impression that it was going to take place in the Kingdom of Sand in Building Seven, once characters unraveled the mystery of Dhaos's location. We would much prefer that it take place in the Kingdom of Sand, as we discussed before.

Generally, we had been under the impression that this plot would operate in a different way than this post has led us to believe. We would really appreciate some clarification on these details. Please feel free to respond to us here, via email (polychromatic.mods@gmail.com), or via chat.

Oh, sure! Doing it from Dhaos' account is a-okay with me! I just want to make sure there's a little back and forth between characters and monsters to make it believable. :>

As for the army, I was assuming there would probably only be about 50 or so monsters and that each character/group would be taking on one or two in their thread before moving on to the next thread. I wasn't expecting them to be fighting a lot of monsters per thread, just enough back and forth with one or two monsters to see that they're trying and such. I'll make sure to clarify that.

I completely intend the battle to be taking place in the Kingdom of Sand since that was what was agreed on. I thought it was understood that it was the battleground so I didn't think I needed to say it again. Sorry about that! I'll go add it to the main post and edit everything up there.

I hope I helped to clarify on the points you brought up, but please let me know if you have any other concerns.

Hey Dean finally chiming in. He'll be good to go through the monsters threads but when it gets to Dhaos he'll essentially be screwed. He doesn't have any magical attacks.

Here's what I'm thinking. Feel free to chime in:

*Dean will go through the stages with things like guns, machetes, flamethrowers, etc and so on.
*Castiel, Dean's literal guardian angel, has one job and one priority and that's keeping Dean's dumb ass alive. This means Cas will be with him. He'll be doing more protecting Dean than anything though but in talking to Cas' mun, he will probably end up doing some fighting.
*End stage--Dean-o gets hurt a bit and Cas realizes this is a battle Dean can't win so he'll be BAMFing him out of the final battle and back home.
