I'm terrible at intro's but here's me trying anyway...

Hello everyone! I'm Jessica and I was drug here lured here by a couple of friends already in game. I'll be playing Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII. There's a whole list of information about him in his journal and a mini bio in his profile, in case you don't know who he is.

I'm really excited to be playing here! I've been looking at it for a long time!

I haven't even SEEN ACC, which is the lamest of the lame, I know. However, I am reasonably certain that I can find sufficient summaries of various things online, and scripts, etc. Much as I know the original game like the back of my hand... I never quiiiite beat BC (/eyes Gackt with disgust). BUT AGAIN SCRIPTS so I probably don't need to bother you at all.

I don't mind, really! The FF Wiki's are also awesome places to find information at. I've never actually played BC, but I figure there's more than enough information in CC to cover what I need to know.

You're fine! It's easy to get confused. Have you tried watching a walk-through? They can sometimes help.

WELL STILL I CAN'T BELIEVE I MIXED THAT UP. Intense loathing for most things sequel/prequel isn't always an excuse...!

I actually got pretty far in CC, I'm just total shit at finishing games. I get all REALLY INTO THEM and play them for like, 10 hours a day, and then a week passes and I'm like SHIT OTHER THINGS I HAVE TO DO and put them down forever, and then I lose the ~groove~ and uh... yes. Lol, I have this need... to play it... myself, but I have sometimes deigned to read scripts until the point I left at for the sake of my "talk to everyone five times / grind for hours / revisit areas to death" sanity.

Don't worry, it's very hard to scare me away. It helps that I'm also currently hopped up on Nyquil so I think anything is funny.

Hey! I have Aerith/Cloud icons too. But I do have to admit that I really do like Tifa. She's a great character, even when her and Cloud are just friends. Which is all I normally expect them to be.

Don't worry. I discard DoC all together, most of the time. I understand the wanting to play it through yourself. I can be your cheer leader for that if you want?

O lawd, I do not plan to touch DoC anytime soon! But, I do need to review my knowledge of CC. Even if I just link to external sources for history (which I... totally plan to do, unless they skimp as they often do on lab time), for my uhhh character refreshment.

Despite my lack of involvement in the ship wars of old (... please god let it be old), I can't help but be so paranoid. Lol, it's probably obvious who I favor, but I can't even like... even phrasing it like that makes me nervous! Even being completely outside of ships.

It is a very fetching outfit! YOU BETTER HAVE SOME WINNING RHYMES PREPARED.

I've... never been in them? I like Cloud/Tifa the best, but I have to admit that I like other pairings too. It just depends on the situation and everything else. (I'm willing to admit I don't like Aerith, but she's special to Cloud, and I don't let my personal opinion get in the way. That would ruin a lot of great CR and times for my character.)

I was too young to really get... it... and then by the time I was old enough I was more involved in other fandoms, idk. HONESTLY, I like Tseng/Aerith best, lol NO PRESSURE TSENG MUN WHO WILL NEVER SEE THIS, THIS IS COMPLETELY OUTSIDE OF ANYTHING. (D:. But, that's cool of you! And at least you're honest, lololol. Please to be allowing me delusions of grandeur where, m-maybe t-that might change, a little... /wrings hands)

I've... actually never gotten that pairing. It's just one of those things that I don't understand. Then again I don't understand a lot of things about the fandom. Then again... I don't understand Zack/Aerith either. and that's canon. (It's better to be honest! Maybe! I'll admit it is possible, since I've played with people in the past who have changed some of my previous opinions of her!)

WELL IT'S, it's not in a super otp forever omg thing. I enjoyed it in-game because... she's really nasty to him! Which makes me sound odd, I know. But, Aerith's so constantly putting up her cheerful normal everything's cool front, but with Tseng she's just like FFFFFFFT YOU SUCK YOU'RE WRONG GET OUT. And CC makes things odd, but Gongaga + the ... big ultimawhatever book (there is a character relationship chart in which Tseng very distinctly has a pink crush line going her way) = Tseng definitely had some feelings for her, slap aside. It's all dysfunctional and messed, but she still cries when he's "dying" (even if she denies it, because lol Aerith always lies when it really matters).

Also, editing forever, she says that, "known him since I/we were little, he's one of the few people in the world who really knows me, can't say that about peeps" line, emphasizing her supah secret sense of isolation + the fact she and Tseng actually have some kind of extra-slap relationship

Also lol zack + aerith is especially easy to not get BEFORE CC where it seems really like... not important to him. When in the truck with Cloud, he mentions a place they could go, but changes his mind because "the mother's there". This is obviously a reference to Aerith and Elmyra, and lol, leaves a loooooooooooot to be desired in terms of OMG FOREVER OTP things.
