Holidays are here. I won't have time to devote to RPing consistently as I'll be celebrating with my BF and my family. Therefore I'm calling a hiatus for soulofocean until Monday, January 4th.

She's staying. Godmod rights go to the usual suspects. It's safe to assume she'll be attending what Christmas parties friends decide to invite her to. I may still tag around if I get some idle time.

Onto the cute part now: I'm not sure if you do this in Poly as it's my first Christmas in the game, but here's a detailed list of the presents Umi will be giving her acquaintances. So, if you have CR with soulofocean you may want to check the following to see what your character will be getting from her! ♥;;; LOL IDEK we do this at my other game and I find it cute okay. |D

So yes: despite the curses and whatnot, Umi's been shopping for Christmas presents. No, she wouldn't let the usual City shenanigans stop her. And most of the time when Umi shops she shops BIG. Here's when having a job and two halves pays off. Like, literally. The more she likes you the more she'll demonstrate it. Materially, as Louise (as;krgdshBAAAAAWBBF T__T) would put it. So don't be surprised if some of these turn out fancy. Are there brands in The City? If not do ignore the ones on this list. She did bust her budget for the occasion.

Enjoy your presents, everyone. Chances are she'll hand them out to the apartmentmates, neighbors and closest friends in person. The later know who they are. In any case everyone can assume they got their presents by Christmas.

WHAT DO YOU GIVE TO GOD. Especially when he can produce anything from a jewel in his forehead. D8 Well, Umi didn't panic about this. Her way around it is an iPod Gold, for him to relax while listening to his favorite tunes.

He's the scholarly type and works at the Library. So he gets a Mont Blanc writing set and a designer scarf, to keep him warm and cozy.

kobato hanato [ its_kobato ]
A cute hand-knitted (not by Umi LOL) winterwear set, because she's adorable and that sort of adorable things go well with her.

Umi believes the sportsman in him calls for spiffy Adidas Predator soccer shoes, a TerraPass Glider ball and a sportive, elegant wristwatch for the looker side of him.

Oh Mamoru, what to get you. Omi would have been easier. Still, she loves you and got you a nice sweater and a blackberry, seeing as you're now the businessman type(??).

These neat things. YES, SHE EXPECTS YOU TO USE THEM. 8| Like, you know, outdoors?? This is all part of a stealthy scheme to get you to go out moar, Kona.

Was quite kind and told her what he wanted, hence he's getting leather & fur winter gloves. HOWEVER, that seemed to be way too little for a big brother figure. So Umi added this book, seeing as he's interested in learning.

Rin, Umi knows you're the research-y sort. And hates how your notes got lost once. So here, have a netbook, in hopes any further ones will be safe there (LOL as if).

This Boss jacket. His size, though she looked at the bigger ones and wondered if she should get him a spare for whenever he ages up again. Ahem. ;; And a men's fragrance which she thinks goes well with you.

sasuke uchiha [ cursed_ninja ]
Ex-sensei sparring partner is a bamf ninja. So, a Japanese dagger and set of shurikens from Bridge of Birds. ~~May be enchanted to always find their target, who knows.~~

yuuki kurosu [ trappedinresin ]
Yuuki. ;o; You looked so sad when you told her about your current situation. So Umi tried to do her best to cheer you up with a Dolce & Gabbana jacket and boots.

setsuna f. seiei [ denyinurgod ]
Uhh... Okay, had no idea what to get him. But she believes he could use something to help him unwind from his obligations as Curse Brigade Leader(~*~), so she's giving him the AeroGarden 6 Elite Indoors Garden.

tieria erde [ worthier ]
Another terribly hard one. She had no idea what to give him and it was too late to ask Lockon, so she decided to go for the obvious, consider his dressing habits and purchase this for him.

watanuki kimihiro [ toppedbyfate ]
He's the homemaker type, so Umi aimed for something that could help him with it. Wata gets a portable sewing machine and floss set.

shizuka doumeki [ monsterepellant ]
This wooden sculpture, large enough to fill in a space in the apartment living room quite nicely.

uta yumeno [ songofdreams ]
At first Umi was going to go for hairclips but came across this lovely little thing around the shopping area of Misery Square that she deems will fit Uta better.

timothy hearst [ gforgreat ]
He was so enthusiastic about the indoors skating rink Umi decided he should try out more winter sports, curse or not. Tim gets this spiffy something he can use with Umi if they ever go snowboarding at the mountain.

road camelot [ dreamsofnoah ]
They haven't talked in forever, but Umi remembers her fondly. She got this horrifically cute goth teddy bear for Road as a token of their (past?) friendship.

youko nakajima [ reginagloriae ]
Another case of Haven't Talked in Forever, but Youko's always left a good impression on her. Therefore she's still getting a little jewel case with these as a token of that admiration.

sakura haruno [ betterthanthen ]
They don't know each other too well yet, but Umi likes her so far. Plus she's Sasuke's, uh, acquaintance(?), which counts. Sakura mentioned she likes sweets so she's getting a box of Christmas creampuffs.

Umi got presents for Louise and Aya anyway, in case they'd be back by Christmas. But she's not telling what they are nor mentioning she got them. She's keeping those ready for whenever she can hand them to their recipients.

That'd pretty much be it. Though I'm quite sure I'm forgetting someone. @_@;; Anyway. That's what the basket of baked goods is covering up for LOL.

She is not really... she can't give gifts in canon without them becoming transactions and I have lazily not decided how to handle that here yet, but Umi will certainly be receiving a thank-you if naught else.

Glad you like. Umi wishes to say she's thrilled to get Yuuko's seal of approval for Clow's gift, fyi. Fun thing is, I was rematching Code Geass and kinda thought "Hell, Clow could probably beat the crap out of Lulu's ass at this game". Thus present was chosen. XD;;

Pffft. Umi's not in it for getting anything. She's just a closet sap gurrrl when it comes to friendship and holidays. So she'll feel awfully accomplished that Yuuko liked her presents and that'll be more than enough. ♥

Aww Umi~ Amu will like her gift even she feels awkward being girly (she'll be getting Umi something too, idk yet though) and even Sasuke will like his gift. Though he says it's only because it could be useful ♥ Sorry he's a jerk, and probably won't give her anything ;; But he may thank her later.

Oh and I know you mentioned wanting to throw Umi at Raenef since you want to have her take him in? I'm almost done with icons so I should have intro up for him tomorrow. You're welcome to backdate that whenever you have time~
