Canon Update!
It's time. Sylar's getting shifted up to Season 4. On Friday afternoon, he'll disappear out of the City, and he'll be back in either Sunday evening or Monday (depending on my free time), canon updated to the end of episode 4x04- Hysterical Blindness.
What does this mean?
-He killed Nathan Petrelli at the end of season 3.
-Angela Petrelli pushed Matt Parkman into wiping Sylar's mind, then rewriting Nathan over it.
-This new Nathan!Sylar lived on as the congressman for six weeks before Sylar's powers started manifesting.
-Nathan!Sylar was killed and buried by an angry Mom over a cold case.
-Sylar then dug himself out of that grave, traumatised enough into losing his memory.
-He was picked up by the police, who realized he was Gabriel Gray, who had killed his mother.
-Sylar didn't remember any of this, and defensively used his powers to escape the police station.
-He was shot three (four?) times during the escape, but healed the wounds near instantly.
What a mess, am I right? So the long and short of it is that Sylar will re-enter the City covered in dirt and blood and have no idea where he is, who he is, or why he'd been accused of murdering his own mother.
I'll probably canon update him again before long, but I couldn't give up a good canon amnesia-plot. So look out for exceptionally distressed Sylar/Gabriel/Nathan/whatever in a few days. :3
