Still trying to ease Al into the game, so going with something light/goofy for this cycle-- the dæmon curse. He will be toting around a a glorified goat. Given his curiosity and general lack of enthusiasm of caring for a farm animal, they're both going to want to eat your stuff get into trouble, maybe through an action post or something to that effect.
