Yes, I dropped Gwendolyn (valkyria) about a week or two ago, but decided that one characterdom suuuuucked! So in Gwendolyn's place, I have brought Akane Kurashiki from that game about being kidnapped, placed on a boat, small bombs, and solving puzzles called 999 Zero Escape: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors.

Hello guys! I wanted to apologize for having been a bit slow lately, and for not having tagged around much. I'm having some issues in real life, and I need to go on hiatus for about a week. I'm so sorry! I promise you all I will be more active once I come back.

So this is what I do during class because I'm a good, responsible student.

HI THAR, POLYCHROMATIC! I said, after the 4th wall, that I'd app and here I am! My name's Tossino, most call me Toss, and I'm bringing Merlin from BBC's series Merlin. It's really not like the legends at all, I've heard because I don't know the legends myself yet, but its complete own interpretion of it, and it's really quite the fabulous series in its own way.

So Merlin is a clumsy, rash, childish young man (or boy) who speaks what's on his mind a little too easily before he manages to stop himself, and he's really quite awkward as far as anything aside from magic goes. He had some promising threads during 4th wall so I'm hoping for amazing CR~

Hey, Poly!  This is Veda (currently playing Justin and Penny) bringing you Chekov from the 2009 Star Trek movie.  He's a sewenteen seventeen year-old Russian genius who knows just about all there is to know about physics and math; I am neither Russian nor a genius, but I've been doing my research and I hope you'll have a good time playing off of him!

Juuust a couple of things that I want to mention:

- I won't be typing audio entries out phonetically.  Believe me, this will save everyone headaches in the future.  (If you want to know what you're being spared, this youtube video has some good clips.)  The v-to-w transposition thing might become necessary for comedic purposes, but otherwise you'll have to use your imagination.

- If it'd be IC for your character to know about Star Trek, do fourth wall!  (They might also be confused by this Chekov if they're familiar with the original series.)

- "Fright Night" peeps: If you want to play a game of mistaken identity with the face-double, go for it.  But Jerry, Ed?  Don't eat him.  Please.  Thank you. 

I'm being very boring, so chuck any burning questions this way and I look forward to intro-ing this kid soon!

Hey, this is Rey and I'm bringing my first character in! From Angel Sanctuary, if anyone even still knows that aside from the cast.

Meet Sakuya Kira, student, delinquent, all around gorgeous, womanizer, horrible son, but a very good friend, albeit a bit with the tough love. He also likes to provide wry commentary and making fun of people.

Did I forget something?

Oh. Right. HE IS ALSO THE DEVIL! ...long story, but, yeah, here's the man of wealth and taste so please allow him to introduce himself. He's only recently started putting together what exactly he is and he's not likely to let his Kira personality slip unless you're a cast-mate, but I look forward to what all will happen with this. ;)

Hello, Poly! I'm new to this game, though I've been in something similar before. I bring you Neil McCormick, a broken young man from the film Mysterious Skin. He's a mixture of tough and vulnerable, awkwardness and grace, humor and pain. More information is posted on his journal, though some sequences in the video there are difficult to watch. There will be spoilers; you have been warned.

Neil arrives in Poly just after the events at the end of the film, pissed off, scared and rallying for his bravado when he finds himself in a fountain. That he very closely resembles someone in the game will just add to the confusion. I'll post his introduction soon.

Hullo Polychromosomes~

As you may notice from his IC post, now that the City's back together, Neil's trying to get the play back on track. I never did manage to get OOC info up last month, so consider this the belated call for more player involvement!

The play is called Like Clockwork, written by the City's own Todd Anderson [mumbled_truth; as a sidenote thanks to Rae for the plot/character info!]

As of now we are still in need of two male main characters and two female main characters, and as always I would much prefer to fill those roles with player characters, because NPCing stuff is less fun. Since the structure of the play is so loose, we can also accommodate pretty much any number of minor characters / stage crew / etc, for those who'd like to get involved in a smaller capacity!

So, if you have a character who's interested-- or a character who needs to be cajoled-- please do hit up Neil's post and let him talk them into it!

IC he's scheduling auditions for Friday, but probably those will just be handwaved-- if there's any interest in playing things out I can throw up a log then. Let me know! ^^
