14; This 'Rock Around The Clock' thing is nothing but racket!

Welcome to a day in the life of the year 1955. The City looks roughly the same, just maybe with some smooth glossy curves thrown in. Whether or not a citizen has lived through the era they'll definitely feel like they're a part of it now. Roll your cigarettes up in your shirt sleeves and watch how high you lift that hemline. It might seem carefree but there's always someone around ready to yell at you kids going to hell in a handbasket. It's the middle of the week, y'all should be in school or working!

So brush off your blue suede shoes, and polish the fins on your Cadillac, keep up with the Joneses, do the Twist, try not to be a square, and make some plottage plans. (They had a 1955 in other parts of the world too, so feel free to do something that isn't Americana.)

Due to a combination of a new semester, health problems, and personal issues, I’ve been pretty much AWOL from online for the last three weeks; as a result, all my tags have gone without responses for that length of time.

I’m really sorry to everyone I owe things to – I had no intention of things getting this bad.

Unfortunately, what I should have done sooner and am doing now is declaring a hiatus for the rest of this month (until October 1st). Hopefully by then I’ll have life sorted out a bit better.

I love you guys and I love rping – life’s just not letting me do that right now, and I’m really, really sorry for this.

Hey Poly~ I finally got back from my trip from Hawaii and slowly recovering from a sickness I've been battling for the past few days. But I should be getting back to tags a bit faster now so back with me is:
