Hey POLYchromatids! Tomorrow, I'm boarding a plane and flying to Paris for a semester abroad. I am incredibly excite, but unfortunately, my internet situation will be shaky at best for the first week or so (crossing my fingers!)

Just in case, I'm calling a full hiatus for two weeks (8/31/2011 - 9/13/2011), and safety net semi-hiatus for the third. I may be back the first week, but I'll definitely be spottier than usual as I settle in to a new country.

This also means that I'll be switching timezones to CET (UTC + 1).

): I'm sorry, everybody. It's not that I lost the muse, it's just that Rue is very different from my other characters. She's not naturally talkative, and because of that, I have a hard time finding reasons for her to post other than to just post.

And she deserves better than that. Somebody who can manage to keep her quiet nature while still finding a way for her to do posts that don't seem awkward and not quite right.

I'll be posting Rue's goodbye today. Everything she owns goes to her friends from the Hunger Games crew. Especially Cinna and Finnick. You guys are an awesome crew, and who knows? Maybe I'll find a way to be back someday, with a character that talks more so I don't feel wrong posting. I've got a few ideas, but nothing solid.

I'll still be here with Hanna and Rapunzel, and because I'm rather loony, I'm also working on a new app for somebody else. But Rue is going home to her long deserved and well earned rest.


:) It's been good, Hunger Games crew. You guys are amazing, and I hope that Rue returns to you again soon, some way or another.

I'm dropping Temeraire. He'll leave the city quietly, but all his friends can expect heartfelt (if slightly gaudy) farewell presents. I had so much fun playing my crazy dragon, but he's had a good run and with the start of a new semester it's about as good a time as any to let go. I'm still here with shiverandsing and lookjustlike.

I managed to put it off for this long, but alas, no more. :( A combination of burnout and life means that I must leave this fair City behind. Leaving with me are Iroh and Flynn Rider.

I feel absolutely horrid following on the drop train that's sprung up but unfortunately, like Iroh-mun, this has been a long time coming. I tried to put it off for the past three months but ;-; I can't any longer. I'll barely be scraping by on AC this month as well and... well, I would rather not squat (or feel like I am) anymore on such an awesome character when there are others who might be interested in playing him. It's been one helluva blast being in this game for as long as I have, believe me. The year that's come and gone, I had a lot of fun playing Zuko and threading with everyone I did, building the CR and making friends. ♥

I'm bringing Ken Joshima from Katekyou Hitman Reborn. He is a lapdog lackey subordinate of Mukurou's, and basically an animal in boyform. He's half-wild, energetic, rude, loud, emotionally stunted, ridiculously loyal, loves a good fight, and says "pyon" at the end of half his sentences. And he likes to chew on people.
