'SUP POLY.

tussah here (the player behind [livejournal.com profile] courut and [livejournal.com profile] his_instrument ) with a third character -- this time from a novel everyone and their mother should read: amy harper belafonte from justin cronin's the passage. long story short (and it is a long story), amy is a 92 year old girl in a post-apocalyptic world ravished by a vampire viral outbreak that spreads violence and an invasive form of telepathy that threatens to break the wills of those who have managed to survive, kept safe 100 years after the fact by synthetic daylight. a military project gone haywire, there are twelve permutations of the vampire NOAH virus; amy is the carrier of the thirteenth and final refinement of NOAH. she is also quasi-prescient, telepathic, and sort of vampire jesus (though i'll save that explanation for her application to cover, if anyone wants to take a look).

because of her pullpoint, amy will be brought to the city unable to talk aloud (yes i realize this is a recurring theme with my characters).  in the book, she utilizes her telepathy to communicate with the people around her instead. i understand that this places limitations on how she is able to interact with people and for those of you who don't want to touch her telepathy powers, i'll be figuring out a workaround to allow for maximum availablity of interaction. for those of you who are willing to give permissions to let amy 'talk' to your characters (please please please!), i kindly direct you to this permissions post, which 1) explains her powers and 2) provides a little form for you to fill out to let me know what you are/aren't comfortable with!

if you have any questions, please let me know. i understand that her powers are pretty overwhelming and i want to make sure that i am on the same page with everyone who interacts with her. i am SUPER flexible in interpretation to make it work for you! that said, I LOOK FORWARD TO CREEPING BRAIN TOUCHING PLAYING WITH ALL OF YOU WITH HER. in the meantime, please:

This is Eri finally admitting defeat, and cutting Natasha from my muse list. Dropping her today, which means a few things for a few characters that work at/for City Solutions/close to Natasha.

- Kristi/Tony's journal will have to take up the tracking post for employees and whatnot, which, I'll give Kristi the coding and everything will stay p much the same. In addition, don't forget to update with a new comment to the destinations page so that the contact link will go to the correct post
- Dawn can either stay on as general admin or admin for a specific department or take up Natalie's mantle as Tony's assistant. Lisa, if you'd like, you can let her stumble on Natasha's library plans and run with it as you like. If not, just let it die; at least it's ICly public knowledge that the library accessible 'online' now, I suppose. (She'll also get Natasha's impressive shoe collection.
- Taylor can have Natasha's language stuff; translations, building a lexicon and more hand crafted translation crap for the City. She's probably got a decent amount of literature in several languages as well as mapping unknown ones.

Nothing else of pertinence comes to mind, so if I've forgotten anything, lemme know here and I'll make sure it gets taken care of!

Thanks to everyone who ever frysquinted at her, her weird/awesome CR makes this such a bummer...

Unlike the Sondheim song, I'm not talking about what the song refers to. I'm here because I'm going to be dropping Xander Harris here and Martha Rogers. I've been seriously laxing on tagging around and posting at all. So, I'm lightening my load and focusing on the O.C. set and Stefan Salvatore. Expect more tags everywhere! And a lot less dropped threads. It's painful but it needs to happen and luckily, I'm still not going anywhere. I'll be here with Taylor Townsend, Seth Cohen, and Stefan Salvatore.
