This is so weird. I've never had to do one of these before.

Proto here was my first character in Poly, way back when I first joined all you lovely people on December 20th of Aught-Seven. As of tomorrow, he'll have been around for three years. And since the game in which he was introduced was Mega Man 3, and his show was set to run for three seasons (but then got canceled in the third), I figure it's fitting and appropriate that his run in Poly last for three years, too.

He was far from my most sociable character, and certainly not my most friendly one, but my little red-armored sarcasm-cracking Scott-McNeil-voiced godawful-marksman brother-complexed troll of a superfighting robot has always held a special place close to my heart, and I've had a lot of fun with him during his run here. But it's been three years, and he's ready to go home and have flagrant UST with beat up his little brother again.

Which means he's leaving the City tomorrow. And since Proto is, as mentioned, a complete troll, he's leaving all of you a little gift when he goes:

→ RESIDENTS OF BUILDING 5, you may notice his departure is being heralded with the sound of explosions. And you'd be right; he'll be blowing up his apartment as he goes. (Hey, just 'cause he's not living there anymore doesn't mean any of you dweebs get to move in, either.) The explosion will be contained by the walls of his apartment, so the only damage will be to his former residence, but people are welcome to overhear the blast and discover the wreckage, up until the City reforms the place fresh and new again and completes the process of wiping out any trace that he was ever here. And all of this comes 100% mod-approved.

And he leaves none of you anything, because that's how he rolls. ♥

He'll have a departure post up tomorrow for anyone who wants to witness his final moments (or note the explosion), but I've tl;dred enough as it is and spreading this out over two posts would just be clutter to the max, so please:

So, yeaaah. I should get this done with before the holidays instead of postponing it yet another day. I've been in Poly for almost a year this time with Brennan here, but things have a habit of changing and while I'm sorry to do this, I feel like the time for this change has come for me. Yes, this is a drop post. I've had a terrific time here and made a bunch of great memories - thanks to everyone who tagged me/Brennan had CR with, it's been a real blast.

Basically I'm hitting a dry period with Solomon, and not wishing to abandon him, I was hoping to drum up some ideas or possible interactions with others that could help keep things going that can continue or lead to other things. I'm fine with positive as well as negative experiences with him, so it's pretty much open.

Hi, Poly! Zen (Rita-mun) here with a new character: Gremio from Suikoden I! He's Tyr's mother protector mother and is already a fretty worrywart even without City shenanigens. He's taken just after his death, so he will be City!dead (albeit with somewhat hazy memories of the exact events).

So this month has been crazy enough that I kind of took a de facto hiatus with Roxas here even though I officially was still around. I wish to change this! He's been in the City long enough to become a little more social even if he's kind of naturally shy.

Anyway--just posting this to 1) apologize to anyone he DOES have CR with that I've been neglecting 2) let people know that I'd love to have him meet more people/do more stuff, so if anyone wants a somewhat derpy and awkward-but-nice Keyblade kid in their lives, he is here and ready to...hang out? Or something. Feel free to poke me here, on aim (I'm JainaX), or just bug him ICly if you're interested.
