Hello Poly~!  I'm Arden, and I'm brand spanking new and bringing you the irrepressible Lois Lane of Smallville canon.

Given that she'll hopefully be getting some canon mates from early seasons sometime soonish, I'm taking her from right before she arrives for the first time in Smallville, in 4x01, which means she hasn't even met Clark and company yet.  She's a brassy army brat who rarely shuts up, and likes solving problems with violence and/or sarcasm.  She's only 19 at this canon point, and hasn't yet begun her reporter-ing career.

As far as fourth walling stuff goes, I am totally fine with anyone whose character would know enough about general Superman mythos to not let the name Lois Lane pass without comment.  I just ask that your characters stick to recognizing elements of the comics/classic Superman TV/movie mythology, instead of anything specific to Smallville, the tv show.  In her world, Superman doesn't even exist yet, so trying to talk to her about it will mostly result in her finding your character a little crazy anyways.
