Hey guys! I know I just came off of hiatus but just so you know, I'm going to have to take a slowatus/semi-hiatus for this following week to work on costumes and such and a full hiatus from the 29th till the 2nd because of Otakon!

Yo, fellow poly-ites! This is just me calling a 3 day minihiatus while I go up to New Hampshire with my family. We have no internet up there, but lots of mosquitoes. It's awesome...cept for the mosquitoes.

Anyway, normally I wouldn't call this sort of thing, since I've done this before, but I'm using this as an excuse to send Hanna home for a CANON UPDAAAATE~~


He'll be gone from today (Friday) to late Sunday/possibly early Monday. When he comes back, he'll have been updated to the beginning of Chapter 3 of 'HINaBN' (specifically, the middle of this page: http://hanna.aftertorque.com/?p=605)

Hanna will be suffering from a very shot case of city amnesia, which I imagine will last until he sees somebody he knows.


Zombie-mun, please feed Iznagi. Also, make sure Lassie goes to the vet, I'm pretty sure she's still pregnant.

So one and a half years after my most 'recent' character in this fine community of polychromatic I come in with a pretty hefty character weighted down with amazingness. Sergeant Angua von Überwald from Terry Pratchett's infamous Discworld series. By the way, hi, this is B/k.

As it so happens, the other summer (boy but I do work slowly), I took to reading the Watch sub-series again, because Captain Carrot Ironfoundersson is an awesome and likable fellow, even to read about. The blink is to encourage an app. But it was Angua that sort of lodged herself into my brain. Mostly it her take on werewolves that did it. And it has taken me two years to do it. I spoke about this to Alms-y and Rae, actually, when I met them; about PBs and such. And I've dropped the fact that I wanted to play her about, but when I finally made the journal I really got an oomph.

The journal name, incidentally, was inspired from The Art of Discworld where, next to Angua's picture a blurb was titled 'One Really Long Bad Hair Day'. So yeah, I may not be as brilliant as Pratchett, but I intend to do my best, and I've already done a footnote in my app, so that's a good start? y/n?

I must also say that it's wonderful to be able to play a werewolf in these times divided by a certain series, comforted by the knowledge that she could take them both down. Also, Caru, and any other Discworld fans, how'd you like to help fulfill the wishes of an innocent fan? Yeaaaaaaaah.

Also, I'll be introing this weekend at some point after the vuvuzelas are gone. Plus right now I'm not feeling up to much, and hopefully after Shabbat I'll be better.

I know it's not a good start, but don't expect Kida's post for another two weeks. I'm being hauled off to Croatia with my parents, and while I'll have internet a few weeks, I'd rather be all yours, poly, instead of other people's too. So, that'll be a hiatus until the 8th of August, and then expect the prettiest motherfucker ever to intro.

Hey there, Poly! This is Veda, back from vacation and all internet-connected. With me are:

Penny (horrible_penny ), who did not leave the City, and
Justin (absinthe_eyed ), who has been missing.  Mysteriously!

The intention was to bring Justin back into play after a plot on Thursday, but I'm bumping that back to today because of the belated return on my part.  I'll be making a network post with him as soon as I skim through what I've missed.  I probably won't comment on too many entries I've missed, but if there's anything you'd like me to hit, just say the word and I'll be there.
