Hey, u ded?

Don't worry, this is just to figure out some upcoming plot details, you're not committing your characters to anything! But yes, it would really help if you could reply here with the names and eljay usernames of your characters, if they happen to be:

CANON!DEAD [character died in his/her own canon, they came in dead]
CITY!DEAD [character died in the city]
BRB!DYING [character suffers from some kind of lethal wound or disease, or is otherwise about to croak]

And please mention which category they belong to! Thank you!

Sorry, living chars just aren't special enough for this entry which was so gd speshul in and of itself that it required eight ETAs to get to a state of spelling semi-decency ._.

;A;
Ahem. A combination of technical and mental difficulties has resulted in various issues including braindeadness and sudden surprising lack of free time, and so Luc here is leaving Poly. Maybe he'll come back someday and I'll actually be able to stay decently active with him. Apologies especially to our tiny Suiko cast.

So uh, please friend remove wind_magic or hover, whichever you'd like. Florian's still staying though! And he shall be picking up chicks this grab bag weekend. Whoo~

Actually, I have a reason for posting!

The Family is going on A Vacation from Sunday nightish until sometime on Friday.  My laptop is not going.  Therefore, I will not be online, and Justin (this journal) and Penny (horrible_penny) will not be posting about.  Penny, however, will be in the City and... doing what she usually does.

Justin, however, is a little more complicated.  He's taking part in this lovely digging-up-the-cemetery plot.  I'll post with him before leaving, but I may forward-date the entry a wee bit to make time for comment replies while getting the timing right.  Due to plotty circumstances, Justin will be gone while I'm gone and then I will backdate as necessary to finish the super-exciting plot off.  Hopefully this will all make a bit more sense when I get his journal entry going.  I HAVE A PLAN, HOWEVER.  I can only hope it's a good plan.

So I'll be around for weekend shenanigans, but consider this a heads up?  I'll try to finish up all tags and such before taking off so no one's left hanging. <3

MONKS. MONKS EVERYWHERE.

No, really.

Hey, everyone, Rizu here to drop you some details on what will be going on at your friendly, neighborhood library. As you saw here, there's been some damage! A portion of the library is missing a small bit of wall, quite burned, and a long row of bookshelves has been disturbed.

That's where you can come in!

While construction is going on, the deities will be calling in some special guests. (So don't be surprised if you see [livejournal.com profile] canonical_hours around~) A horde of monks will plod their way in to the library and set up shop, ready to transcribe the books that have been burned to ash.

And they'll be taking them from your memories.

In a deity post, characters who frequented the library will be asked to volunteer their services- well, their memories of the books they've read. If they decide to help out, they'll be set in front of a monk, who will, effectively... read their minds, and transcribe the books they've read from the library. Now, this mind reading is only mildly invasive... really! And we do mean it- though we can't claim responsibility for any trauma suffered by reliving memories on the way to said books.

(Note: Because 4th walling without permission is not something we encourage here, while books from some canons- such as a book that has physics about superheroes, or botany from Avatar, etc., can be found in the library, there isn't to be anything specific found or transcribed, so no finding Sherlock Holmes novels, Superman comics, or the like, alright?)

So! Just throwing that out there, and if you have any questions about what a character might experience if they volunteer, helping out during reconstruction, etcetera, put them here!
