Alexis here and, as some might have noticed, I was hardly there at all for the last week. Finishing tags, but not actually... tagging things. Or reading much at all. RL is happy eating me again and will continue to do so until the 10th-17th(?) of June. (Which is the second part of my graduation!finals, wtf.) So, I'm still hoping at the moment that it doesn't have to be a full hiatus, we'll see about that. But it will at least be a slowatus. So, if I miss a post/am slow, you know why. :/

So, in the wake of the failest Slayer I bring you... the failest angel. (At least, this will be his title until his partner in crime drags his ass on in and takes it back hi eri ilu)

At first, Bartleby will be attempting to pass for human in the City, so this won't come into play just yet, but he can read people. Sins, name, history, everything. It's a little freaky.

This is Natasha Romanoff, who'll be introducing herself as Natalie Rushman. She is from the Iron Man canon, but she's movieverse so there won't be all that side-switching business and a lack of a sexy Russian accent.

She is post the movie, she is a spy/agent for SHIELD, she speaks like a gajillion languages (ok four) and she is big on the linefacing. Her app is on her journal as well as some quick info on the profile. Aaaand that's about it. I am taking bets on how long it takes her to break lineface, btw. LONG TIME.

Ah~ Hi-hi, Poly. This is Philip. He, ah, hasn't been out much, but he does happen to know a lot, because he's... well, I'll explain that later.

Regardless, the one introducing him is... Char. Hi guys! I have no idea how to do introductions (they never get any easier, do they? haha.) Please take care of me!

Back to Philip. Now look at your man. Can he do lookups? No? Philip can. He's like a walking combination of google and wikipedia. Sometimes he gets a little too much into research.

STILL! In his off time from reading and learning things about paper manufacture, or how to do boating, or finding out precisely how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsi-- okay, maybe that last one is better kept to himself-- he's also half a Kamen Rider and SAVES THE DAY. When he can be bugged into it.

This is Audrey (Amory, Suou, and Tristan-mun) bringing in yet another younger character to add to the City ranks. Hopefully, I will be able to handle two younger characters. HOPEFULLY. Last time it didn't work out so well with Sakura, but the summer is long and I have more time on my hands.

BUT BACK TO MORE  IMPORTANT MATTERS.

So, this is Mindy Macready. You probably know her better as Hit-Girl from the movie Kick-Ass. (Which is hilarious and amazing, and I recommend it.) Don't let looks fool you. She may appear to be a normal 12/13- year old girl, but underneath all that adorable, there's a vicious crime-fighter waiting to kill your bad guys.

Yes, I did say kill.

Her weapons of choice are spears, handguns, balisongs, and good-ol fashion hand-to-hand asskicking.   Like kicking someone into a wall from across the room. She will be coming in from the end of the movie after she brings down D'Amico's men and the head honcho himself (think your typical mob boss and organization) with a little help from the titular character, Kick Ass.

And because it's awesome:  Warning though! It's a red-band trailer. So blood and violence are to be expected! >>

DEAR POLYITES WHO ARE FRIENDS OF PENNY,

As some of you may recall from Rosella's post a few days ago, it's Penny's birthday today! And since no birthday would truly be complete without a party, Rosella and friends are throwing one! With ducks. Because Penny and ducks go together like laundry and fabric softener. Or birthdays and cake. Or Poly and awesome.

ANYWAY, feel free to assume you got an invitation if you're one of Penny's friends, acquaintances, etc.! I'll be putting up a log in tampered in just a few minutes for anybody interested in threading, and I'll link to it here once it's up. Passive-aggressive note-leaving shenanigans are optional but encouraged.

Just kind of a heads-up, I'm going to be gone this weekend and tagging with be sparse at best. I'm driving eight hours down to Chicago tomorrow to see two friends graduate and then driving back on Monday. I probably won't be around at all Saturday and Sunday with the ceremony, parties and hanging out and stuff, but Friday and Monday I'll probably be surfing the web on my Blackberry when I'm in the car, so. We'll see how things go.
