Trooping off to VA with the dad today to assist in caring for grandma and getting her ready for her Sunday flight. Nine hour car ride, blah blah blah... flying back late Saturday, and opening the store Sunday... THERE IS PROBABLY INTERNET THERE? I mean idk if my uncle won't be shutting it off (vaca-ing) or didn't kick it back after bad weather + middle of nowhere damaged it.

Hey guys! So you may remember that a month and a half ago I foolishly broke a finger. Then I got splinted, pinned and they forced a cast on me, but I am happy to announce that on Tuesday I was liberated with my newly straightened finger (this picspam brought to you by ridiculous, unbelievable levels of joy) so I can pretty safely come off my hiatus...on Saturday.

That's right, I'm going back to the UK to finish my graduate degree, so I'll be traveling on Friday, but Saturday I'll be back to my usual, GMT self.

I think I've been pretty okay about keeping up with stuff but if I missed something ridiculously important let me know! I will be back in time for fourth-wall shenanigans (for once, my timezone works in my favor :3).

HI YOU GUYS. Just dropping in to say, hey, I won't be around this weekend because I'm going to a con. Not Katsucon, alas, but a small sci-fi convention out in Tricities, WA known as RadCon. It is called that because of the nuclear waste dumping site, so don't be surprised if I come back with a few extra eyes or something it is rad. But I'll post early for fourth-wall and backdate the crap out of everything so PROBABLY YOU WON'T NOTICE I'M GONE.

conductyourself will be leaving on Sunday night with all those happy, fun visitors and going home for a much needed canon-update to... probably the second volume somewheres because I like dragging things out. He'll be gone about a week, coming back sometime during Grab Bag weekend with vague and fuzzy memories of the City.

So, yeah. I just decided this five minutes ago, which is exactly why I'm announcing this publicly. Hi! 8D

This isn't going to come as a surprise to anyone, really, but I think with how sporadic my presence has been here, I've finally had to make this choice.
