So, I figured I pretty much should notify of this, otherwise I'd just be...roleplaying alone when I should not do it.

It's finals time for the Europeans, or some of us at least, which means I have to study...some. So, slowatus for:

This is Kim, returning to the fold, and I'll be bringing with me one John Doe from the self-titled (and extremely short-lived) television series. He has no idea who he is (a mysterious and severe case of amnesia), sees only in black and white, and oh yeah...he knows everything. John's a walking encyclopedia with every knowable fact crammed into his head, except for the important things like his real name and why exactly his earliest memory is of waking up naked on a deserted island in the Puget Sound.

A couple of caveats regarding the whole "sum total of human knowledge" thing: first of all, what John knows is limited to his own version of Earth or variations similar enough to pass, and only up to the point of what would be present day for him (2003). Which means he could talk to anyone from a "normal" Earth setting about the Merovingians and string theory and the process by which baseballs are made, but ask him about vampires and he'll just quote you myth and fiction references. And he won't know anything personal about any of you, because none of you exist in his world.

Secondly, for the mind-readers and psychics out there: his memories are completely inaccessible, although his conscious mind is probably an open book. Just drop me an email or a PM if you're looking to do something psychic-like, so we can work out the details, because John's brain is a strange place to be.

So once I get around to introducing him properly, John will be trolling around the City looking for the answers he doesn't have, and in the meantime putting his bizarre storehouse of knowledge to work winning at Trivial Pursuit, possibly solving the occasional mystery, and generally convincing people he's off his rocker.

Going for a trip to Colorado with my BF. /o/ PC access will be minimum to zero, so hiatus for soulofocean for two weeks. Estimated date of return is the 29th though it could be earlier. Umi will be going home during this time. So, please assume that as of right now she's gone from The City.
