To make things easy, the Hiiragi brothers will be returning home while I'm gone. The majority of their stuff will still be in the apartment though.

Once upon a time, in the past, Kat was up late one evening spazzing about an old, unfinished series to Thornbot. Thornbot became interested in the main character and soon tricked Kat into applying for the character a second time in Poly. And he was accepted. A second time.


So welcome in Rain Jewlett from Immortal Rain (aka Meteor Methuselah). A few extra notes here: he's a 600 year old fail!priest retard, he is secretly a timelord has two hearts, and is one of the biggest supporters of life ever (read: would jump in front of a moving bus to save a dog, idek).

I'm bringing him in from early volume 2, so there's still a lot of canon stuff he doesn't know about yet.

Hi! I'm Kristi and I'm bringing you Inara from Firefly. She is expressly not Inara from Serenity. She comes from several months after the series but before the movie when she was living on Persephone at the guild house.

Just in case you aren't familiar with the series, a bit of information. Inara is a companion. This is a bit like a modern day Geisha. In her world, companions are in the higher echelons of society and they command a great deal of respect. Inara even more so than some because until her little disappearance from the guild house to see the Universe with the crew of Serenity, she was tapped to be the next high priestess. Companions are extremely well paid and their job consists of much more than sex (things like feet washing, hair brushing, general companionship, attending special events etc etc). She's very well educated in many areas. She is also from approximately 500 years in the future. Earth has become earth-that-was and humans have moved onto a whole new Universe. Travel between planets is common and Inara lived for a little over a year on a space ship, docking in various points of port to work. However, there are aliens where she comes from and even the 'monsters' (Reavers) are people. At the end of the series, Inara chose to go back to the guild house because she was falling in love with Malcolm Reynolds.

Oh, she's also dying. Not immediately but she's got a fatal disease. The creators of the show were vague on what that disease was. Obviously something not sexually transmitted. I play it as an evolved form of cancer. You know the whole 'we cure this/make a vaccine we make a better virus' idea. She won't tell anyone this and I don't know exactly how I'll play it off. Possibly not much at all unless I can come up with an end game of curing her.

Inara is friendly, very social and happy to talk to anyone. She doesn't scare easy, she's capable of trading insults with the best of them and although she's always elegant and well behaved, she doesn't mind being friends with those that aren't. She is in general hard to surprise, an excellent liar and good at hiding things. She isn't a fighter but she has some fighting skills (limited martial arts and sword play) and she will be avoiding the underground for the most part.

My aim is rageiscute. Feel free to add me, chat, plot, etc etc. I'm really looking forward to playing her with you guys! friend add only_fell to the admin console.
