For the month of August, I'm going to be on hiatus. It'll really be more of a semi-hiatus, as I'll still be checking Poly and playing, but I'm going to be going on a trip and generally trying to take it slow. I wanted to also apologize for missing ... or dropping threads ... in most of the HP crew posts lately, and I'm really sorry about that. I'll get back into the swing of things once I get ... back into the swing of things. Yes. I'll be around with all seven of mine, too! And to those who are promised apps, I'm going to hold off until I get a handle on who I have first.

I should mention that I'm going down to Ohio come Monday and spending a week there. Or more. So if I'm not around a lot, that has something to do with it, too.

I'd do "where my characters are" but--yeah. I SUSPECT I WILL MOSTLY BE HERE, that week aside. And that week, I imagine I'll still be here. I'm complicating this, but yes.

Anyway, there you go. /o/

Going up to Idaho for a last-minute family vacation. Sooo, I'll be gone from the sixth until the ninth or tenth. This only affects Komui Lee (coffee_gemini) and Shouryuu (the_ever_king).

God-mod rights for Shouryuu will go to the 12K crew. I SWEAR I'LL GET TO THAT LOG. As for Komui, he'll be going home until then for a much-needed canon update.

Hey, Poly~

Just wanted to drop a quick note that I'll be canon updating Uta as of tonight (early Thursday morning? Depends on her log with Hiiragi). She'll be updated to end of Season 1 where Hiiragi tells her that he wishes he had a little sister like her. The idiot.

Not really much for her to leave as she'll be back in a few days... or a week. 

Tohru, she's leaving Weiss, the kitty, with you. Probably left him in front of the temple with a note saying "please take care of him while I'm gone"~

I'll be gone for the most of this weekend as I need to take the sister to the airport on Friday, and have Family Shindings on Saturday and Sunday. So if I'm not on AIM, you can email me~

It's just a general note, for everyone. The Grand opening will be this Saturday, and Tohru is super excited about it. There will be tours given of all the animals and the facilities, as well as food and drink provided for guests. Since so many people helped complete it, she wanted the opening to be something nice for everyone to enjoy. I realize it's a curse weekend, but...meh. Curses happen in City-san all the time, so it's okay. It makes things more interesting...?

Everyone who shows up and adopts the first day will get special discounts and goodies that go along with their new friend.

As a general note, Tohru felt too sad locking all the animals in cages, so this shelter is a bit different. Animals roam a little more freely than you would find at a typical pet shop. Separated by species they have their own rooms, without being locked behind bars. They're pretty nice with lots of toys and things to keep the animals happy and preoccupied. It helps that they have individuals who can actually communicate with the pets.

Mostly the shelter is littered with Cats and Dogs, since Kyou and Shigure are the reason the temple had become a bit swamped. There are other animals however, just not to the same extent. Give it a little time. Bunnies, some birds, and other common creatures can be found there.

EMPLOYMENT:

If you feel that your character would like to work at the animal shelter, feel free to post below! Tohru and Kyou would only hire people they felt would work really well with animals and were genuinely kind-hearted. Since I don't know every canon under the sun, I'll assume that anyone who wants to sign up for employment falls into that category. Employment can be handled by being assumed, done through our regular journals, or else logged. Whatever is most fun/convenient.

This is Dr. Watson.  He should not need introduction.  Unlike my other pups he is not insane, not a villain, not a serial killer, nor does he have anything living in his spine.  So hover or what have you, and add onefixedpoint.  He's coming from after "The Final Problem" but before "The Adventure of the Empty House."  He thinks his BFF is dead and has recently been widowed, so he's a bit sadfais.  A bit of 4th walling is allowed.

Thanks to everyone who's played with him past and present, he's been a lot of fun and my longest-standing character to boot (a not very impressive nine months to be true). ♥

edit: oh, and does anyone want modship of polymarvels? It doesn't really need any modding, but it would probably be safer in the hands of people who actually will be using it. >>;

Hey everyone! This is Jordan, playing Michiru from Sailor Moon.

I used to play her here a while back, but ended up leaving for a while, due to some stressful circumstances and a loss of confidence on my part in my ability to portray the character to my satisfaction.... but now I'm back, because I couldn't stay away. ((I totally wasn't still following the posts and events the whole time, no not at all, why do you ask >.>))

I've done a lot of character writing and fics/drabbles/etc and I feel much more confident about both playing the character and being involved in the panfandom setting overall. If you have any plot ideas or questions or anything, I'd love to discuss it, either through notes or via messenger or ooc post in my journal.
