Yukina here (AKA the Sakura and Enki/Roktua player) with her third character! This is C.C. from the crazy anime series Code Geass. She's an immortal witch (as the journal name might suggest because lol I'm original) with the power to give people pigeons in their eyes. I mean the Geass. And that power allows people to mess with other people and/or time & space. Basically. C.C. herself is a bit snarky and laid back. "Go with the flow" type of gal and all that good stuff. She's also sexy and has GREEN HAIR. This makes her automatically awesome.

SO ANYWAY PLZ ADD HER. :D Because that makes me happy.

I'm all kinds of horrible at introductions but here goes? 8D Hi Poly. I'm Nui, and I'll be bringing in my first character: Graham Aker from Mobile Suit Gundam 00. He's an American fighter pilot who's kind of on bad terms with Celestial Being/the Gundam Meisters because they keep blowing up his friends and stuff, those assholes ): However, he's in love with Gundam and also kind of a complete geek for robots/mecha but otherwise he's totally cool.

For anyone familiar with the series, he's from season one, so no he hasn't gone all Mr. Bushido on us yet.

Anyway, I'm really glad to be here, and looking forward to playing with all of you! So if you would, hover-click and all that jazz ♥

Sorry to say, but I'll have to drop Azmaria. I just can't seem to play with her anymore. Maybe I'll bring her back on day, but for now I'll have to let go.

Thanks to everyone that played with her!

Please friend remove pracao or just hover! ;3;

It's one of our many Jens again (the one with the ninja, the fox, the horse, etc.), with another character saying hello.

Last year, a humble geek stumbled into the City, and his first thoughts on what happened involved one Harry Dresden, wizard, and faeries. The short, ripped fanboy is making a return, during the events of "Day Off", but he doesn't remember a thing from his prior stay. So, obviously, disappearing from his apartment and tripping over a fountain when he meant to stumble to his bathroom in the wee hours of the morning must be the work of faeries or the wizard who paid for last night's beer.

Please add [livejournal.com profile] wolfspecialist. He prefers you call him Will, but Billy works, too. He's a geek, he's an engineer, he's married, and he holds weekly tabletop RP sessions at his apartment.

Oh, yeah. He's a werewolf, and he's not shy.

Gentlemen, (and ladies,) can you keep a secret?

Okaaaaay everyone probably saw this coming. :3 Seeing as how we've now got two members of the Welton chapter present, this spring young men's minds begin to drift towards... poetry. And in the spirit of passionate experimentation, I give you the Dead Poets Society: City Chapter.

What's a Dead Poets Society?
As the illustrious Mr. Keating puts it;
"The Dead Poets were dedicated to sucking the marrow out of life. That's a phrase from Thoreau that we'd invoke at the beginning of each meeting. You see, we'd gather at the old Indian cave and take turns reading from Thoreau, Whitman, Shelley; the biggies. Even some of our own verse. And, in the enchantment of the moment, we'd let poetry work its magic."

Okay, but what does that mean in practical in-game terms?
Every Friday, Neil and Todd will be holding DPS meetings, along with anyone they feel comfortable enough hanging around to include. I'll be tossing up a log every week-- set out in some convenient cave in the woods, I suppose. ^^ Obviously participation's up to you, and if you can't be around to comment you're welcome to backdate, assume, or excuse your chars for whatever reason necessary. :3 And... yeah. Feel free to have your kids read extant poems that you think would appeal to them, or if you're feeling really gutsy, write some verse in-character :3 Anything goes, and in the spirit of the movie the structure will be pretty loose-- feel free to threadjack, join in, start chants and bang instruments; whatever seems right at the time.

In case anyone hasn't seen the film~ here's a clip of a DPS meeting :3 below the cut! )

So how do I get my character in on all this sucking-the-marrow-out-of-life action?
Okay, here things are a little tricky-- because the nature of a secret society is secrecy, so I can't see Neil just going out there on the Network and saying O HAY GUYS COME READ POETRY WITH US :D But, at the same time, I do want to be as inclusive as possible with this, SO. If you've got a character who would be interested in joining the Welton boys on Friday nights for recitations and readings and writings, give me a poke right here in comments. If they already know and chat with Neil or Todd, that's all the better; if not, we'll make an effort to start tagging around your posts so they can get comfortable with your guys and start fishing around for interest in poetry. :3 If for whatever reason you don't think that'd work out but you still want to join in... errrr let me know, we'll figure things out. ♥

ANYWAY. That's about all I've got for now. Questions, comments, volunteering of victims members, hit me. ♥

& mod-approved for good measure.
