So this isn't a hiatus, drop, or add post. It is a heads-up post.

I'm sure Logan is a character familiar to most of you. He's certainly up there with Superman and Batman for iconography. Logan is in, quite frankly, everything. As of this month, he is in Uncanny X-Men, Astonishing X-Men, X-Force, New Avengers, Cable, Old Man Logan, Wolverine Origins, Astonishing Tales, Avengers/Invaders, Wolverine Noir, Wolverine: First Class, Dark Wolverine, Dark Reign: Electra, Timestorm 2009/2099: X-Men, Wolverine: Weapon X, X-Men Forever, Runaways, Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk, and Fantastic Force. Yes, I looked it up. But the point is putting Wolvie in a book boosts sales he gets his nose into everything. He's on so many teams people wonder how he finds the time for all those oneshots grave visits.

This is where you come in: feel like having your character mugged? Getting slapped around by your boyfriend? Selling drugs to kids on the street? Motorcycle fan? Spend a lot of time in bars? Work at a bookstore or library? Early-late diner? If you can think of any excuse whatsoever for your character to meet Logan you are in. The open action log post is here. If you've got a plot on the go and need someone short, hairy, and violent to cut in, email's in the profile. And if you just want to assume you saw a guy with metal claws around, feel more than free. He needs to build a rep.

My personal goal is for him to get into every crew in poly. Help a crazy girl out.

Relatedly, during the hair attack he's going to be out and about with those big shears of his so if you want to get in dire peril but don't want to die give me a hollar.

I wasn't planning on doing this, but even after Touma's canon update-- I haven't been able to be as active and involved with him as I'd like. He's not the type of character I usually play and unfortunately it didn't work out as I had planned...

DID ANYONE ORDER PIZZA EXORCISTS?

Since starting tomorrow, and up to... Sunday(-ish?) is when hair tendrils start looming / creeping / horror flick-ing in the City, Marie-playa and I were wondering if anyone would mind having their characters' homes assaulted by two big loud obnoxious gentlemen who tend to get a liiiiittle too excited over the idea of hunting down the supernatural.

They would be very good to crash through windows, damage doors, knock people over in their hurry on the street, or generally just add to the day's chaos, if you want your character to really pay their karmic debt for whatever sins in a past life. I guess they can also actually do their jobs and help get rid of the hair, if that's needed, sure.

It's mostly an opportunity for clumsiness and lulz in these fine days of gore, so... any volunteers to be harangued / intruded upon / poked around?


eta; if you want to post about the assault friendly visit and be spammed to death, sob, we'll look forward to it. If not, we'll find new and mysterious ways to make this memorable.

Even though I was on hiatus, and still am on a slow-atus (honestly lack of internet drives me to tears sometimes), I had finished this application and got it approved earlier this week. 

So please welcome Vicki Nelson from Tanya Huff's Blood Books!! She is coming strictly from the books (I find them easier to update to) so please no references to the series if you've seen it.

Otherwise, this 31 year old half blind private investigator will be entering the City sometime Thursday or Friday. She will be coming to the City straight from the end of the second book, Blood Trails (basically right after the case is solved and she douses everything in gasoline and sets it on fire).

I haaaaaaaaaaaaate having to do this on such short notice, but a family emergency, along with too much schoolwork/health issues/other RL crap, is finally forcing me to call a full hiatus now instead of later; affects Mikhail Trinity [cutyou_up] and Ninetails/Rao [foxfacades] for two weeks. Godmodding right go to the 00 crew for Mikhail. Already dropped a note at the hiatus post, mods.

I know I've been all kinds of horrible with tags and stuff lately too. 8( sry guys. And lskdjflskdf I apologize so hard to my castmates for disappearing in the middle of a curse plot. ;A;

That's right, I am FINALLY going to update poor Gabriel Sylar here. I am heading to Orlando on Friday to watch STAR TREK in IMAX, and it will be awesome, and I'll be in Orlando celebrating my birthday for a good chunk of the weekend. No stinkin' computers. So I figured this would be a good time.

So what does this mean? Late Thursday night, Sylar will disappear. On Sunday, he will reappear probably somewhere near the fountain, and he will be from Volume Four of Heroes, the end of the episode titled Building 26. Luke, he's gonna know who you are now! \o/

What this also means- Sylar is coming back with three new abilities. The first is imprinting, which is kind of a lame thing that lets you sign things without signing. The second is electric manipulation, which he will rarely, if ever, use. Bad memories, you know. The third? Is much more awesome.

~~Lie detection~~ Oh, yeah.

He can tell if anyone is lying by noticing physical cues. If they're telling lies, apparently "it tingles."

So...er, obviously I might need a little help with that. >___> I was trying to think of ways that could come across if someone is video posting (I'd say voice posts, too, but it hasn't been confirmed if he can use the power with only voices). It's much easier to indicate in narrative. If people are talking to Sylar and your character lies, maybe you could just PM me to let me know? OR maybe we could use symbol-ey things at the end of sentences! Like }} or * or || (but not ~ because that would mess Road up XD ) ?

I dunno guys, what do you think?

Oh, also! Expect Sylar to have had his horology class earlier tonight. He is very knowledgable about clocks and will go over basic structures and how the basic types work. He'll see who's picking it up quick, and will particularly watch for people asking questions about the The Clock at the center of the City (let me know if you think your character's going to do that).

I may post something later tonight, depending on how much of my homework gets done. >_> But feel free to assume your character went to this class! He'll hold them just about every Wednesday, and will get progressively more in depth with his information- he may even let people build their own watch, if they get that far.
