Amory Felix

Hey Polychromatic!

I should have probably called a hiatus earlier in the week, but better late than ever. Soooo, with finals + papers + a friend visiting for a week (requiring work to be done a week ahead), I'm going to call a hiatus starting from today 4/24 until 5/5. That's around a week and a half, so hopefully I won't miss too much! ♥

Characters Effected:

Sam Oliver ([livejournal.com profile] idkmybffsatan) | I will get back to that post, Mary. I-I swear. Nate is free to godmode - you may notice him being rather quiet/reclusive/gloomy as of late.
Amory Felix ([livejournal.com profile] fatespoken) | Another Anti-Social apartment lurker. He's been rather uncomfortable (awkward?) or something of that sort since talking to Eden. ;; Thus Amory's just been staying in his apartment and wandering the streets alone for the past week or so. It's normal behavior, really.

:3 ♥

Helloooooo, ducks. Two quick notes and then I'll stop cluttering up your TL;DR forum.

1: Short and sweet. Alec's had a good run in the City, but I think it's pretty obvious that I've lost the muse. He deserves to be the King of All He Surveys, and I just have never been able to get him up to the level I want him at. So he's saying his goodbyes and going home to his Richard. Anyone who tagged with him (I can't call you "friends," can I?) feel free to notice he's been quiet and discover his absence.

And, of course, [friend remove tinybitmad] at your leisure.

2: Hiatus time!

I wouldn't be following the Way of the Joss if I didn't torment her as much as possible, would I? Tara and Willow are patching things up, which means it's time for her to go home and canon update so she can come back and send them both into GIANT ANGSTY HOLES again.

I'll be doing an exit post for her in a few minutes, and she'll be back on Monday after I mainline all of Season 6 sometime post Tabula Rasa. At which point we'll all learn an important lesson about trust and honesty. Right, Willow?

Cheers!

Hey, Poly. ♥

Looks like in the middle of all this fun action, I'll have to take an emergency hiatus.

details )

This affects:

[livejournal.com profile] itachi_kunoichi | Makimachi Misao :: She'll come back after the zeppelin assault all banged up, but she'll be fine. If needed, godmodding rights go to Kenshin-mun.
[livejournal.com profile] directions_plz | Hibiki Ryoga :: Let's just say he's out wandering the forest. If needed, godmodding rights go to Akane-mun.
[livejournal.com profile] to_turn_away | Anotsu Kagehisa :: He's busy watching the assault and brooding about his own exit. If needed, godmodding rights go to Rin-mun.

I don't know when I'll be back--likely in around three days or so, and I'm not sure either if I'll have internet access there or not, and if I do, how often I can use it.

So, I'll see you when I get back, Poly. ♥

♥,
Varali

As mentioned in this post, there's going to be a tournament for Lucy Pevensie's birthday. The tournament will be held on May 1 on a wide field where the woods meet the more 'suburban' part of the City. There will be another IC post made sometime Saturday or Sunday with this information for your characters.

So onto the sticky parts of the tourney. Sometimes picking who wins, loses, or who fights who can be a troublesome thing. We prefer to keep this event as informal as possible, there are no systems to determine who is First Place, Ultimate Champion, Numbah One, etc. in any of the fields. Anyone who wins a match is a winner. Yes we know that sort of seems strange but like the tournament is in the spirit of games and not hostility, we rather not enforce a type of system on other players to determine winners. The options we do think available are:

♦ one-on-one single matches between players who are willing to discuss winning or losing

♦ one-on-one single matches with an NPC if you feel uncomfortable deciding matches with another player

♦ random.org's coin flipper or die roller

Ranged combat (archery) is the only area that doesn't necessarily encounter matching. Everyone who makes their target is a winner. Targets will of course vary from traditional bullseye to activities like shooting things off stuff.

Because the Narnians are kind of medieval compared to everyone else these competitions will not be including feats of amazing technology like what you might find at say a modern day shooting range. The most modern weapon allowed are pistols as requested by Cain Hargreaves. This will be closely monitored and allowed with strict safety measures! Those not participating in Cain's matches are just as free to gloss over it. In other words, no trying to tilt by car or motorcycle, no laser swords or electrical whips, no heat seeking arrows. Superpowered individuals are expected to not use their powers at all during these competitions. This shouldn't come as a surprise right?

Okay the part that's supposed to be the most important besides glory and bragging rights and ego stroking and impressing the ladies and gents...

I feel I must express my appreciation for everyone who has participated in the Major assault plot. Logs are, of course, still onging, but I rather suspect that at this point the Gundaming of the Deus ex Machina is completed and the Major will soon be in custody.

It's been an absolute joy to see all the characters interacting and pulling together, making this a really epic plot that connected so much of the City, and I thank you all for putting it together, I've had such fun I can't even express it, as busy at is.

All of you collectively, rock. Especially the mods, for putting up with all our plans and last minute changes.

The best part, of course, is that this ain't through yet. We've got the trial and...

Well, you didn't think a little setback like this would keep the Major down?

Nonsense.

He'll overturn countless bad results.

And he'll let you believe this wasn't planned all along.
