It's with a heavy heart that I make this post.

Unfortunately, life has eaten me alive of late, and I'm going to have to thin my character holdings--for the duration, though, since summer is coming and who knows what that will bring? Hopefully more time to RP, right? Right.

But, what this means for now is that, Sherlock Holmes will be making his exit. As the 4th wall crowds departed, he left with them (I saw a Watson around yesterday and I desperately wanted to post, but I'm just so pressed for time these days, but perhaps he just followed his friend--in disguise, of course). He'll go back to his travels for a few more years, then go back to London and return again to being the world's greatest consulting detective. He's got to get back for his return eventually.

Sherlock should have been all up in your business, observing all of you, but my own schedule kept me from being able to pay enough attention to everything and doing everything he ought to have done. And I'm giving life a good fist-shake right now, because I wanted to, desperately. I gave it a good try. I had it at first, but then came RL...

But, with luck (mine, not his), he'll be back. I loved playing him, I still feel like I have his voice, but the amount of time needed to keep him really involved is more time than I have to spare at the moment (I wish you could see my to-do list).

So, until such time as he wanders in again, I leave you with this:
