Soooo Poly. How ya doing? Long time no see and what not. I have a story* for you.

Once upon a time, there were three players at Poly. They ganged up on a poor, innocent girl who was a fellow player of theirs and plied her with certain books and movies in an attempt to enable her into applying for a particular character.

This girl, loving those players the way she does not, read those books and watched those movies and, against her better judgement and her INSANE PARALYZING PHOBIA OF RODENTS, she applied and got approved.

This, my friends, is how Starrah (that is me, if you didn't know) got trapped into applying for (who I admit is pretty badass) Reepicheep, the swashbuckling talking mouse from that Narnia movie with the guy with the really nice hair. I forget his name, but he ain't important since you know, he got punked out by a mouse in a fight SEE ICON.

So, by some strange twist of fate, Shini ended up apping two anal, black-haired characters with a big boner for justice this week. You met one earlier this week and now I'm back with the second!

Hailing from that vaguely BL-undertoned manga about ninjas (that isn't Naruto), Nabari no Ou, Gau is one of the few almost normal characters who, by a series of questionably fortunate events, ended up working for a ninja village helping to manage (read: kill) rebels within their organization. Which, considering the fact that before this whole ninja business he was a teenager whose special skill was a high level grade in abacus usage, might be considered a pretty abrupt shift.

Luckily (?) for us, regardless of his choice in careers, he's still a wonderful spazz, painfully gullible at times, and hopelessly dragged into anything by his pink-haired superior. And hopefully he will be intro'd when I'm a little more coherent.

I was wandering about a Who-com, and a request went up for some more Who'verse characters. Since that coincided with a) a widening obsession with that canon and b) a curiosity in LJ RP coms I decided to wade in and hope the outgoing tide doesn't completely knock me off my feet. So for the time being, the Time Lady Romanadvoratrelundar will be wandering about the city, making new friends, finding old, and hopefully not getting killed by a giant squid in the progress. (There aren't any of those in the City, are there?)

So if' you're in the Who realm, or interested in somewhat haughty brunettes who occasionally think they know EVERYTHING (and will tell you so if given the chance), come on over. Regular posting will begin shortly.

SO HERE'S THE DISH, POLY. The AC adapter for my laptop broke, and since my battery life is crap and a half, I haven't been able to use my laptop, and my access to the family computer is very limited. I had hoped my new adapter would've arrived by now, but...it hasn't, orz. So. THAT IS WHY I HAVEN'T BEEN AROUND. The adapter should be here within the next couple days, and then it'll be back to business as usual (with a little bit less activity due to school). /CROSSES FINGERS

So like. Kid (anti_asymmetry), Keigo (omgkeigo), Lee (browsofglory), Shujin (badatheart), Allen (isabeansprout) and Taiga (palmtoptaiga) are still in the City, chillin' like villains.

Killua (inurfais), on the other hand, is going home for a little bit. I'm not quite ready to drop him yet, but...it's a possibility. I DON'T KNOW, WE'LL SEE.
