In other words, I haven't had enough time to do my pups justice anymore and for my own sanity, it's time to draw the necessary conclusions. Thus, dropping Tony DiNozzo, Thomas Raith and Legolas. Please:

Back from China & hiatus, meaning Billy & Molly are finally back! Two characters are missing from that roster, and for that I apologise to all castmates. I just kind of sat like a useless log on them for a while. With the upcoming workload of being finally able to take finance classes and an addiction maybe to left 4 dead I won't have enough time to stay active with all of them.

School-caused hiatus. You know the story. Just for a month or so. ♥ Taking Lenalee skycrossing and Heine weisshaar with me until then. Take care, everyone!

Today is Epiphany and, sad as it is, it seems a fitting day to do this: it is with regret that I say that Stephen Dedalus is leaving the City.

He got himself good and drunk last night thanks to the deity decree, so he's nicely back in the right state of mind to turn up in Nighttown ("Circe" chapter) again, ready to fight and whore and collapse and pee in Bloom's garden (I love my canon).

Stephen was an interesting experiment--that was why I picked him up, to try and see if I could write for this character I was obsessed with for years. Plus, it was really fun for my ego to think, "I play Stephen Dedalus in an LJ RP." But, ego aside, I'll call it a moderate success.

It's not for any lack of canon that I'm dropping him either. I'm just still not sure how to play him in the City, which is neither Dublin (haet) nor Paris (rabu). Wanting to play him as mopemopeemoHamlet doesn't seem right, and yet this isn't the society he'd want either. So it's been harder and harder to get him active and to be content with what I'm doing with him. I want to keep him, I really do, but it's just not working. That, and with school on the horizon, I think it's time for Kinch the Knifeblade to go back to Dublin.

So, back to Dublin he goes. He'll fight, get picked up by Bloom, sober up a little, and wander off into the darkness under "the heaventree of stars hung with humid nightblue fruit," and he's not seen again.

But we're perhaps to speculate, given his semisquasipseudoautobiographical nature, that he goes on to write Ulysses!world's Ulysses. It's a spiral.

Thank you to everyone who commented with him and to him. I don't think I did nearly enough with him to thank you for playing with him. It's been a lulzy trip to have played Stephen Dedalus in a LiveJournal RP.

Real life is, predictably, happening. I'm going to be playing home nurse for my grandparents for a week or so because my grandmother recently slipped and got a major leg injury and my grandfather has severe mobility issues.

This means I'm going to be PUTTING OFF THE WEB KIDNAPPING PLOT UNTIL THE TENTH? I think.
