Why hello there, Polychromatians. Long time no see (at least in this comm, yeah?)! While I am, indeed, getting back into my groove here, I an going to be away for a little while. I'll be heading to Seattle, then Portland, for a few weeks, for a much-needed vacation. Basically, what this means for you all is that I'm declaring war a hiatus from 11/18 to 12/05.

I'm still unsure if I'll have internet access while I'm there, but odds are in my favour. It's Seattle, home of the first-ever Starbucks - they gotta have some internet access there amirite? If I do wrangle some internets, you'll be the first to know; until then, consider this a full-blown hiatus.

So, two years and three months ago, a rather clueless kid stumbled upon the magical place called Poly and decided to give her favorite Harry Potter character a go. She had a fairly enjoyable run, two months or so, before freshman year got to be too much and she dropped.

Two days ago, said kid wondered if it might be high time to bring that muse back to Poly, after having a couple more years of college and, more importantly, roleplay under her belt.

Briefly, she pondered using the old journal. (leviosa_spell, anyone?)

But rummaging through those old entries was kind of... painful. And she no longer likes underscores.

Thus, Di brings yet another kid to Poly. Brand-spanking new journal.

I know it's tempting. I know that some of the members of the crew allow fourth-walling. But most, in fact (if my memory serves) don't at the moment, and I'm kind of jumping the bandwagon on that.

But yes. Absolutely no fourth-walling her, please; I've taken much time in considering this. It's okay if your character knows Hermione from one of her prior visits, but no sudden knowledge of things she has not previously told you.
