Hiatus for Fakir [ sword_and_quill  ]. Last try to salvage the muse, which I hope works cause I really don't want to say goodbye to Poly. Roughly two weeks, hopefully shorter. I'll still try to be around a bit, if I can.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, I will be taking a short hiatus from today until probably Sunday. I may be around, but I'll likely be scarce.

Holy shit guys. It's been what, a little over two years from when I first joined here. And I met so many awesome people, and saw so many things that it blew my mind. There are no words to describe just how much I love it here.

But, the time has come, as the walrus said, to talk of many things. Though, not shoes and ships and ceiling wax, or cabbages and kings. If I got that wrong, ffffff stop being crazy I'm going off memory here While I do love Poly still, the enchantment is gone, as can be seen with my recent activity, or more to the point, my lack thereof. I've finally convinced myself that, much as I hate it, I need to stop sitting on these characters and let them go freeeeee~

Well, y'all, he's seen you grow from a place of chaos to a place where people complain about the police.

He's helped organize the earlier police squads, he's chased your Kiras and box killers, manipulated and whispered in the ears of your Wardens and secretly financed a public news channel. He's come a long way from the sad, frightened person that originally arrived in the game.

But now, I think, it's past time for him to leave the City. I can't think of things to do with him without constant criminal activity and a nemesis and that means his personal story is over.

I know not everyone liked my portrayal of him. This was my first time ever playing the character. It's been fun, though. Certainly the most rewarding character I've ever played so thanks for making his stay awesome!

Who knows, maybe I'll pick him up again some day but for now I think it's time to go.

Misa (Misao [itachi_kunoichi] and Papillon [mottoaiokomete]-mun) here, bringing you a certain butterfly homunculus’ antics!

As you all know, today is Remember Remember, where pyrotechnics are rigged to go off at any point and location in the City.

However, Papillon is not satisfied with these fireworks—he wants a grand show, and he’s willing to provide.

So, today, Papi will be unleashing his gunpowder butterflies into the sky and creating a show to behold—it will be a huge blaze of fireworks in his favorite colors, and it will be sparkly and bright and really very magnificent. Sadly, afterwards, there will be the product of all gunpowder explosions—a lot of smoke.

Anyway, feel free to have your characters see his fireworks, or to have them complain about the smoke, or all of the above. 8D I’ll have an open action post up for him where characters can watch the show or bitch at him, but feel free to make your own posts about it if you want to. :3

This spectacular show is, of course, mod approved!

Meet Justin Pendleton from "Murder by Numbers."  He's quiet, brilliant (I swear, no more genius pups for me), pretty, Richard's boytoy gay lover partner in crime.... and a murderer.  Oops?  I'm taking him from a while after the events of the movie and making certain assumptions about what happened to him, so he'll be entering the City after being executed.  

Be nice to him and he'll probably just sit in the corner and read poetry and philosophy.  :)

Well, when you gotta do it, you gotta do it. I've not been feeling Kristoph lately and think it's probably best to let him go for now. My apologies to Bri and Liam-- it was becoming rather tasking with him, and I need to refresh on his canon. Maybe in the future if no one's picked him up, I'll try him again. I'll still finish that log we were doing, Liam-- it's important!

... sort of. Barely. Sincerest apologies for disappearing off the radar the last week and a half. School dogpiled me with assignments and extracurricular commitments (it figures that it's the first round of midterms, plus paper season plus all the conference organizers decide that now is clearly the best time to hold meetings).

I'm going to call hiatus for another two weeks, give or take. Until the 20th at least. I might still be around; I probably won't really. Characters affected will be:

Yuuko | wishyuumay: She'll remaining in the City. Godmode to her kids and Clow. Don't do anything I wouldn't do. X)

Raven | unkindnessof: Raven will be staying put as well. Doing her usual stuff. If I venture out at all, it'll probably be with her.

Pearl | turnaboutloli: She'll be headed home for a bit to visit her Mother and all that jazz. Depending on how my schedule looks, the loli medium may or may not be coming back.
