I'm packing and moving into my college dorm day after tomorrow, so I'm calling a hiatus for Kagami (lightnovelsftw) from tomorrow, August 24, until August 31st. After that, I'll probably downgrade that to a semi-hiatus from August 31st until September 8th, more or less. The semi-hiatus will be because I don't know what my internet connectivity and tagging status will be until I get fully settled into school, but I doubt I'll be able to keep away from Poly for that long. <3

Some of you will probably notice that the hiatus does not include Femio (randomspotlight). That's because I'm dropping him. I've really had to wrestle with his muse lately, and although I love playing him I'm perpetually laughing when I tag with him he doesn't really interact much with players outside of his canon and since RL during the school year tends to severely restrict my free time, I just don't think that I'm going to have time for him. T_T

PT cast, you guys know that ilu all anyway, and I might pick him up again in the future if I learn time management. XD

....So. Once you've played a character multiple times, you kind of get to the point where you...stagnate. (At least, in my case.) That's where I'm at with Colonnello, and...since school's starting again and the next two months are gonna be super busy, I can't cling to a weakest link. So he's going home for good. Sorry to all the people he interacted with- you guys made it fun. ;__;

That said, I'm gonna be joining the hiatus bandwagon, because...I need a break, I think. Just for a few days, nothing major (I doubt I could stay away for very long, anyhow).

Posting, among other things, to let everyone know that the hellplot is officially over. I hope everyone had fun with it, and I apologize for not being around much ICly to coordinate/provide background and atmosphere.

Speaking of which...that leads me to the "of other things." I thought I could unhiatus and get on with my RP, but it's looking like that will not be the case. As things stand, trying to RP with both John and Omar (blue_satin_pjs) is more of a strain than fun--in Omar's case because his muse is missing in action, in John's case because he's too much of an angstyface for me to feel like dealing with at the moment. So I'm going to put those two back on hiatus for the moment, rewatch some of the Wire, reread some Hellblazer when I'm feeling up to it, and, in a few weeks, make a decision on whether or not to keep them (I have one more thing I want to try with Omar, but it'll involve a lot of angst and mess, and I'm totally not up to that right now). I apologize so much for all my "hiatus! wait no, not hiatus! okay hiatus again!" antics.

I'll try to do a post wrapping up the hellplot and providing some IC explanation for what happened tomorrow. Then John will slink away and try not to show his face too much while people get over that--although he'll still pop in now and again.

In the meanwhile, I'll still be around with Nia (unabandoned), as her clueless cheer is more up my alley at the moment, even if it's not my usual character type.

I'm going to do this vand-aid style. Quick so it;s over with and doesn't sting so much. I'll be dropping three of my characters whose muses have essentially died and moved on to whatever afterlife is provided for that sort of thing. Maybe they found somebody more capable of representing them. Either way, I'm releasing them back into the ether.

Niko's needed a break for a long time. Life is steamrolling me right now, so it seems like a good opportunity to send Niko home. He'll be gone an indefinite number of days.

There won't be an IC "Nik's gone on vacation" post, but he won't show up for his shift at Lux, and his dojo will be closed when it really should be open. He won't be out running, or training, and his cats will start scratching at the front door of the apartment, howling, and knocking things over as they try to get someone's attention. That means, if your pup's in a position to notice any of these things (i.e., works with Niko, is friends with Niko, has ever used the dojo, lives next door), feel free to do so, or not, at your convenience. TCLS crew, godmodding rights go to you for care of Niko's cats, dojo and apartment, and the possessions left behind (get out of the underwear drawer, Robin).

He will be back eventually.

I'm back! Not that I was gone for very long. With me, I shall de-hiatus one pretty elf-boy (anymybow), one omniscient little girl (archivy), one half-vampire (theredreaper), one sex-vampire boy (t_raith) and one very special agent (a_dinozzo).

I'll probably be around somewhat less than I was before, but... What can you do? College starts and I don't know how much time it'll eat yet. No semi-hiatus or anything, though.

Back-to-school week is upon us and that means another hiatus for me. Packing tomorrow and the day after and then driving up to Hamilton to move into my condo Monday. So: Tuesday, August 26 to Tuesday, September 2nd. Which probably means I'll yet again be missing a lot of really cool curses and more importantly, HMD! ;_; Since we don't even know which day we're leaving on yet I have no idea what kind of internet (if any) I'm going to have, but I can always check email on my phone so you can get in touch with me there.

George Blake not_alaska will be wrapping up the headless plot and generally keeping an eye on everybody. Please please please get in touch with me if you want some police involvement and I'll do my level best to give you something to work with.
