Well, good evening again, Polychromatids. tashiro_kun here again, and I come once more with another character. However, this time... it's not a canon character. After four plus years, I've ventured back into original characters.

Allow me to introduce you to my first original character here to poly - meet Clifton Roderick, but please, do call him Clive instead. He's an English country gent, circa 1880, and he enjoys steeplechasing, fox hunting, angering people, and single-malt scotch whisky. Oh, and he's married, ladies, but that's a long story that we'll get to later. If you all want more information on him, I have a link to the application (which was almost ridiculously tl;dr) in his profile, and I'll answer any questions you may have!

Watari/Hiroki-mun is here with a third (and very impulsively-apped) character Jowy Blight from that shiny classic game from the -gasp- PSone era, Suikoden II. Does anyone remember him? Does anyone?

Anyway, this fallen king is being plucked right at the middle of that final battle. Angst. Check. Emo. Check. Dying Wish. Check Check Check!

He's being restarted of course, so we can say this is a different Jowy. One that has had a much crueler time with his happy brother-in-law ♥ Just for kicks~

Anyway, please to be friending this emoKing lonesome little guy or hovering over his pretty body face and doing your happy LJ-adding thing~

He'll pop by sometime during this week, looking for a way back and being super-duper confused. So if and when you spot him, please to be pointing him to his sister his friends then~ Namely, Riou and Nunall-- Nanami. ♥ ♥ ♥

I've been contemplating this for a while and this week a few things finally came into fruition to make me realize this kid had to go home.

It's been a lot of fun and he's definitely been my favorite and most long-standing character here at Poly. But:

My other kids'll still be around. And, maybe in a couple weeks, depending on some things, I'll have another arrancar for you (d- don't roll your eyes. it's not an addiction. i can live without a 'car on my cast for a while. really.).

Hiatus from June 24th to July 5th due to moving to a completely different state and packing like whoa. This effects:

Lina Inverse [dragonslaving] - She'll be sent back home for a bit, leaving Amelia on her own. But she'll be back. ♥

Rath Roiben Rye [everyshadow] - I'll give Kaye some angst and let Roiben disappear back to their world until I come back. SRY KAYE.

Isabella Swan [heroinbrand] - She'll be in Edward and Alice's custody. Twilight crew can godmod if necessary. ♥

And because I'm way too busy and can't keep up anymore, I'll be dropping my other two characters. I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone, but yeah. The muses just stopped talking too.

So~ yeah. This game was really fun and I'd love to stick around and stalk, but since lately I just haven't had any desire to post stuff... Penelo will be poofing away.

just a note to say that i've not been around for a few days (I staffed a con over the weekend, and while I thought i might be able to jump on at night and at least keep up to date reading-wise, i had absolutely no time to do so!) but i should be pretty much back today or tomorrow or so. I dunno if/when i'll have a chance to read eeeverything i missed so if there's anything i ought to know feel free to gimme a poke about it here ♥

So, that full hiatus thing I posted the other day? Ignore it. I'm going on a semi-hiatus instead because I miss you all so much. This means I'll post whenever I can find some wireless but my regular tagging activity will me much lower than usual. My kids (Atora, Hana and Lucy) are all canon updated so they might make an appearance either today or in the next few days.

I have to run to work in a couple minutes, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to get an intro out of the way even if I won't be able to comment to most responses until I get back at 11PM...

Anyway, I'm Christy, and I'm new here! I'm pretty new to RPing in general, actually, so hopefully I won't flub up too bad!

My character is Griffin from the movie Jumper... He's kinda an ass, and a paranoid, sociopathic, teleporting videogame nerd who lives in a cave "lair." Here is a trailer that showcases a good amount of the teleporting that he'll do (and here is a super spoilery scene of Jumpers fighting), if anyone is curious. I look forward to dragging him into the city! Also he will probably mistake Anakin for David, as the main character from Jumpers was also played by Hayden Christensen if the mun doesn't mind.

Please welcome Arturo Plateado, of Bleach Wii fame. This here is the first "homemade" Arrancar, right from the day he ripped his own mask off. Some Poly peeps miiiiight recognise him from his last appearance under my typemanship, back in summer of 2007. This Arturo was not so successful as his first incarnation and arrives in the City a defeated soul. Expect much joy and rapture!

With today being the last day and Blitza turning himself over to the police, the plot seems to be just about wrapped up.

We thank everyone that participated and invite you all, now, to give us suggestions and comments on the plot. What went well? What went poorly? Would you like to see the Social Club do more plots of this magnitude in the future?

We're all ears and would love to hear comments and such, and for those shyer members of the community we have left the option open to comment anonymously! Please try and keep any criticism constructive that we may avoid unnecessary dramas.

ETA:

We've had a couple of mentions of anti-climacticness and I thought I would clear it up with that by no means is anyone in the SC expecting people to just stop investigations. In fact, we expect and welcome them, part of the idea of the plot was to introduce the City at large to the idea that the Social Club exists.

As Brad so eloquently put it:

"At the risk of sounding cliché, it's anticlimactic because it's not the end but merely the beginning."
