Just wanted to apologize for dropping like five trillion tags a few nights ago. My grandmother had an emergency surgery (it went very well and she's not at home) and I spent a 14 hour shift at the hospital recovery room so I was gone from home for nearly 24 hours. I'll additionally be busy for the next week because I'll be cooking and cleaning at my grandparent's house until she's well. ♥

So while I do THAT, I'm taking another week of hiatus. My muses are all huddled in a corner and not saying a word... I am so sorry.

Okay, I told myself I wasn't going to post here because I clutter up this place too much already and it's not like I don't take a million and a half semi-hiatuses anyway and bawwww no one cares...

...but it's gotten to the point where I figure I should let people know.

Due to a combination of personal issues, family stuff, computer limitations, and general distractions, I've been scarce for the past several days and will probably continue to be for another several days to a week. I apologize to everyone who I really should be tagging (especially the Avatar cast--when I'm feeling more up to it I'll catch up some more and get more into Azula). I still might toss up a post or two when I'm more up to it, and I might catch a few tags, but if you really need me for something, it's best to contact me on AIM (Annwyd Hates You) or Y!M (Tziyona) and check beforehand that I'll be available.

A heads-up on what my characters are doing:
Omar (blue_satin_pjs) is doing his usual thing, being a totally nice guy on the Network and stalking drug dealers Underground. When I get back I'll be contacting players who have characters involved in the black market and seeing if plots can be set up.
John Constantine (lullabyoflondon) would normally be mocking everybody who irritated him on the Network; I'm going to explain his quiet by saying that he's doing mysterious magical research. And trying not to think about some of the things he's been told about his current relationship status.
Azula is tormenting Ty Lee with lo~~oove, investigating ways of asserting her obvious dominance in the City, and making plans for her next attempt to lure Zuko back to the fiery side. I have some plans in mind, and I'll try to catch up some more before posting with her again.
Garak is staying quiet, doing odd jobs, and keeping an eye on offers of employment about the Network. Also, hackin' ur entriez and not saying anything about it.

Hopefully, I'll be ready to set up/get into some plots as well when I get back.

Shell needs a new car. Shell also has buttloads of bills that need caught up on. So on top of my usual 50 hours a week at my regular job, I'm going to be getting a second one so that I can catch up and hopefully start pulling myself out of debt. I've been scarce a lot recently (lol mandatory overtime) and for that I apologize, but I'm going to have to take a full-fledged hiatus here so that I can focus on life.

I'm also, regrettibly, dropping Toph. I had a good run with her and it was a blast (and I feel bad now that we actually have an Avatar cast!) but I'm so burnt out on her. Please:

Hello, Liam here (of Cowcoby Bebop's Lin, pastdedication, fame) with my second character, Machi Tobaye from video game Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney.

Machi is a 14-year-old piano prodigy and recording star who comes from the Northern European country of Borginia. He will be arriving after the fourth case of Apollo Justice. People tend to see him as innocent and angelic, which made the accusations of murder and his later arrest for international smuggling pretty harsh.

A note on Machi's language: In the game, Machi mostly speaks Borginian, his native tongue. This is obviously not a real language. 8D When spoken in the game, it's expressed in a windings font, and written as some pseudo-cyrillic print for written media. Neither of these are going to be easily done in this format!

I realize language on the network is pretty much handwaved (and has to be, considering all of the Japanese canons, or canons where the language is not all that clear), but I'm going to have Machi post in a combination of poor English and Borginian, since his inability to communicate has been a major aspect of his problems in his canon. Borginian will be indicated with simple italics Like this. Because that's the best idea I've come up with actually Klavier-mun did.

It's up to you how much your character can read or comprehend, but bare in mind Machi may misunderstand you.

SO. I am...not dead, surprisingly. I didn't really post up anything official before because I didn't expect it to get this bad, but I've been on a non-official hiatus the past couple weeks. RL stuff, what else?

And so I'm sure I've missed some stuff, including some cool curses. I'm not really sure when this is going to slow down, so this is me posting an official character hiatus now, and apologizing again for not being around.
