Hello, Toshiko!mun here, introducing you to a new character.

Meet XXXX, from the film Layer Cake. He's a middleman in the London drug trade, and will be popping into town just following the end of the movie. (Yes, literally.)

A couple notes about XXXX: he's got a pretty pragmatic outlook on his chosen business, he really hates guns, he's got a soft spot for leggy blondes...

And no one knows his name. Canon doesn't provide him with one, the film credits list him simply as "XXXX", and so that's how I'll refer to him. For the most part, he'll just slide past any requests for a name, and if he gives it out it'll be in an assumed and "off-camera" kind of way. Other characters are welcome to invent whatever manner of referring to him they see fit, he won't correct any of them. (This will save me having to blatantly manipulate canon and make up a name for him.)

So please friend add notagangster at the admin console or hover.

Mitochondria Eve :: first_mommy -- Working with the choir, tutoring her kiddies, looking after little Eve. Opera House and Kyrie have godmodding skills.

 I said I wasn't going to hiatus, but ... what can I say, I lied. I know I only picked up Neuro all of 3 days ago and subsequently feel pretty lousy about hiatusing him already. Thing is, it's finally sinking in that in addition to the AP exams I have this week and next, I'm also currently failing several of my classes, to the point that it's really kind of ridiculous. UM :D;. So in order to try to remedy that, I'm putting RPing on hold for a bit.

What that means? Riff (ruined_arcana) and Neuro (neuro_logics) will be gone until I can straighten things out - I might comment, sparingly, but no guarantees.

Lyra may godmod Neuro if she wishes, he'll be begrudgingly adjusting to his job as bartender :|. Meanwhile, Tower!Riff will be lurking at the ever shadowy Delilah HQ.

Some of you may have noticed, but I haven't really been here this week. I'm a bit burned out right now, so semi-hiatus for a week to recharge my muses. ^^; I may comment here and there or even post, but I can't promise anything.

This here whore is Roy Campbell of the Metal Gear Solid fame. He's a headstrong, pervy Green Beret who:

→ Specializes in black ops/espionage tactics, studies psychology, knows a thing or two about machinery, and was once a headhunter (recruiter).
→ Has been ganked from 1971 following the events of Portable Ops, having only recently begun establishing FOXHOUND as an official organization with Big Boss.
→ Is more than a bit girl crazy and is now after your wimmenz. ohshi-

K, your resident Amelia player here, adding Owen Burnett from Gargoyles to the repertoire. Geeky as it might sound, I'm thrilled to have him. :)

A couple of notes: His existence is rather a spoiler. I've done my best to minimize the effects of this, but I may be prolonging the inevitable. At least I can say I've tried! The other note/tease is under the cut should you choose to look at it.

I haven't been too active, but I hope to try and fix that. As it is I have decided that Kirby went home for a few hours of City time today.

When he comes back, almost a whole year will have passed in his world and he'll be coming just after episode 65 in the anime, which is as far as I've gotten on the subs so far.  Not too much will have changed except that he's gotten stronger and better in fighting by this point (Though he's still practically useless without a copy ability) and is a bit smarter too. Though personality wise he hasn't changed much at all.

He'll reappear back in the apartment where he lives with Nanami and Riou. The charm he got from Megumi didn't go with him, but he'll have it back when he posts. XD;

Just a heads up.

Edit: Also, I'm going to ask people to please disregard all previous uses of "Puyo" up till now. XD;; I know it's not really that important which is why I didn't correct it until now, but the sound Kirby makes is supposed to be "Poyo". I just got used to spelling it wrong because of people I saw spelling it that way in fanfic and it kinda stuck. XD;; I just felt I had to say that.

As mentioned here (amidst the slew of memes yesterday), Fakir was trying to organize a belated birthday party for Ahiru. Because her actual birthday landed on a curse (and Mytho and Rue still had issues at the time) and she expressed that she actually really wanted a party.

Well, the party was supposed to be today, which I tried to messily organize in one day. And that was really, really bad planning on my part. But since I haven't seen any posts about it or anything, I'm going to try to push it back to this Friday, May 9th. Which allows for a few more days to actually plan this out a little better.

That said, I would still like to enlist the help of the Host Club members, if they're willing? Because Fakir positively fails at social ANYTHING and his idea of a party is probably people sitting around with stony, impassive faces while quietly eating cake. I'd rather he doesn't ruin Ahiru's chance to have a good old birthday bash. >>; Anyway, I've been trying to contact Honey-mun today but have had no success whatsoever. And I'd also like to talk with the rest of a Host Club about this and how Friday works for you guys, if you're interested.

On that same note, those who WERE going to attend today, I offer my apologies again for my very poor planning and trying to put this together more quickly than I could handle---thus I would like to know how this coming Friday works for you, too.

Likewise, anyone else who Ahiru has spoken with in a friendly manner is more than welcome to come. It doesn't matter if Fakir has glared at you or whatever, as long as your character has spoken to Ahiru before, they're more than welcome to attend. Likewise, friends of Fakir's (the few and far between, I know) are welcome to volunteer to help or attend.

...I think that covers everything. So... if anyone has something to add or questions/concerns, etc, feel free to comment here or reach me on AIM if it's easier. Again, I really apologize for my massive fail. And I hope this doesn't cause any problems.
