Yeah, me. I'm going to Helsinki with my parents just... so we can go to Helsinki and buy some coolstuffs and not-so-coolstuffs? >>; Anyway, that means, unfortunately, a hiatus. I'll be leaving some time today (apparently I have no idea when exactly) and will be back... I think, Sunday-ish? So, it's no more than three-four days, but anyway.

Machi perfection_red: She'll be staying, too. Just being quiet...
Horohoro icyainu: He'll actually be going home! For canon updates. *just has to get over it and read the freaking last chapter* He'll be disappearing sometime today and will be back, maybe Monday-ish?
Miranda rewinding_time: She, too, will be going back home for canon updates. Because I think she deserves to know about all of it when she's so worried. And, like Horo, will be disappearing sometime today and back Monday-ish.
Fou toughlovedeity: Another one staying. She'll just be lurking around, doing her job at the hospital and generally being pissy about yesterday's curse. If she's needed, I'm giving Shunsui-mun and fellow DGM-muns the right to godmod.

Alright, so in honor of the holiday and at the IC suggestions of a few others, my muse I thought it would be nice for there to be a proper celebration with a Maypole and potentially a bonfire in the evening.

Clow totally would have planned this shit in advance. I, however, did not. 8D Therefore, the acquisition of an adequate pole will be assumed if no one comes forward, but it would be OH SO AWESOME if (should there be any characters who have - hur hur - sufficient wood) someone would ICly come and offer their erections here. The towering pole will then be festooned with probably various ribbons or wreaths and, almost certainly, a lot of flowers. The decorations are assumed, but if you wanna say you contributed to the crazy, go ahead! 8D And, Sakura-mun, The Flowery's presence would SO TOTALLY ROCK. I bet she was made for Beltane.

UH. ANYWAY. PROBABLY TOO MUCH LOGISTICS THERE. This is my first time doing anything cool big, so don't hate me.

In any case, the pole will be erected in the square - somewhere in the vicinity of the fountain for your booze-al perusal, so I'm sure there will be much drunkenness and merry-making. And noise. And dancing. ANYWAY! When it gets dark and if anyone is still capable of movement and can tear themselves away from the fountain of vodka, the party will re-locate to the wild near building six (?), where there will be a bonfire. Bring your own s'mores, booze, meat (we request that eating of human flesh be kept to a minimum ♥), and whatever. But, you know, revelry will happen, I'm sure, and the fire will be contained. NO, WE'RE NOT BURNING THE CITY DOWN. (I mean, maybe you could, but you'd need separate permission for that.)

This was tooooootally too much tl;dr for a fairly innocent event, I know.

Also, I won't be making a separate post for the party itself, so posts from there are encouraged or... whatever. YEAH IT'S ALL GOOD.

For the lulz I'm taking her straight from the earlier part of the film, right after O'Connell drops her into the river. She will be very confused, wet, and lost.

Nikki (Doumeki/Il Forte) here with a new character! His name is Abaddon, and he's the Demon of Destruction, but he more recently goes by Reverend Abby Smith. He's an OC of mine OH NOES, HEAD FOR TEH HILLS D8, and all his info is over in his first post, and I'll leave that unlocked for now until I get enough people added to f-lock it which, knowing LJ, will take a couple of days. Anyway, looking forward to tossing him into the mix! He'll be showing up in front of the church pretty soon.

He likes to work behind the scenes, but is woefully without his usual assistance (/slaves) -- WHICH IS TO SAY, if anyone ever wants to volunteer their character to be abused / made into a lackey in detective work, for any reason, BY ALL MEANS, Neuro would be glad to have you. For now... he's just pretending to still work for Yako, even if she isn't physically here 8D;.

Alternately, if your character has a secret you'd like revealed, he'll be glad to root it out and munch on it (Just comment or ping me or sooomething)

This? Is Ichigo Momomiya. Ichigo comes from a series called Tokyo Mew Mew. Ichigo can turn into a magical cat-girl for up to three minutes. She's quite friendly, but has this habit of getting too nervous/excited and turning into a cat. When she's like this, she kinda has to kiss someone to turn back. D: She hates alien-parasite-type-things, ♥'s the colour pink, and is going to be very D: upon her arrival here.

Sora here~ with yet another character! Ichiru Kiryuu from Vampire Knight~ or otherwise known as Zero's twin brother.

I'm taking him straight from the end of chapter 20, so he'll be kind of sad but it's all good, he'll be friendly(well he'll make it seem like he is anyhow) seeing as he's the opposite from his twin who he's after for revenge....yeah.

I'll have an intro post up for him either later tonight or tomorrow sometime and when I do, if you character is familiar with Zero? Feel free to mistake him for him or something ♥

So thanks to this, Eden is very angry. She'll be figuring out that vampires did this to John, and she'll be seeking revenge.

SO! Starting around 7pm tomorrow night (estimated time of her finding out), she'll be putting a curse on everyone in the City. Only the curse won't hurt humans, it'll only turn any blood outside of a Citizen's body into dust (and thus starving vampires. She's a brat, she is).

Her power isn't strong enough to net everyone though, so if you don't want to participate with your vampire you can say that they found prey whose blood stayed blood. This plot is 100% OPTIONAL.

The curse won't hurt anyone physically because it only effects blood once it's outside a body.

Any mages/wizards/magic users in the City can choose to feel said curse go up but won't be able to break it without her permission. It'll last three nights and three days, so on Monday around 7 it'll go down because her body will basically be breaking down, unless someone can convince her to stop it earlier. (hint - Death threats probably aren't the way to go <<)

I'll post with her finishing up the curse and it settling so you'll know when it starts - any questions please ask here or IM me at Shinra brat.
