Was debating dropping Takasugi Shinsuke since I know he's veered a lot from his original goals in the city and had a few complications, but I would honestly really miss the muse. Instead, I am just going to give him a complete restart in the city in a few days. He'll have no memory of anything he's done in it before and come back completely new. Alas! Two drops within the same week? Phail, Jesse. Actually I would have dropped him at the same time as Jr., but I just hadn't made the final decision yet. But I can't put it off any longer.

As much as I adore playing Larsa, and as awesome as the FFXII crew is, I'm too distracted and disjointed and other dis-things to focus on a character as articulate and goal-oriented as him, especially with my current character load. He deserves someone who's willing to put more time and effort into him. Maybe in the future when I'm more stable, and he's not taken, I'll snatch him up again.

For now, little emperor says buh-bye, he must go manage a country or two, so please do the hover thingy. And someone please rescue the kitten from his apartment, lest it starve to death.

I'm sure those who interact with me may have noticed, I've been much scarcer than usual not only on Poly, but on AIM and YM and whatnot. School kicked my ass, since concussion kept me out a week, and then the next week and half was "catch up" week, and "make up all your midterms" week, and then the work that was normally scheduled for catch up week became catch up in the NEXT week, and, well. You see how that went.

IN ADDITION:

Going on a nicer little jaunt up the East Coast for Spring Break starting Saturday. So. ... EVEN ON MY BREAK, I WILL BE WITH INTERNET THAT IS SPOTTY AT BEST. SO I WILL BE SCARCER.

But I should be back in full, rested, force by the 13th, probably. Just a week or so. Now. Ok, Poly. I didn't want to do this, but I think I've just been kidding myself for a while now. Between my job, my crew (I'm in a pirate crew. what?) and other RL responsibilities I just don't have time for all of the communities I play in. Since Poly has the heaviest activity and I don't want to disappoint the other players here by not keeping up, I'm afraid I have to drop. I don't want to get involved with plots here only to leave the other players hanging due to my hectic schedule. That would be unfair. However, I have moderator duties elsewhere and I also don't want to neglect my players so I can goof off and have fun in Poly >_> That's a bad bad mod.

What's this? A battle in Poly? How can that be?

Okay, so it's hardly surprising that somewhere, somebody's going to beat up somebody else in this game, but this is going to be another noisy one. Karasu recently killed Kurama, and since the good guy component of the Yu Yu Hakusho cast traditionally doesn't take well to one of their number being dead, even temporarily, they're all going after the guy who did it.

What does this mean for you? Nothing, if you don't want it to. It's completely up to you if you'd like to have a character be concerned with what happens. The fight will take place outside of the city proper, in the forest, so the damage will be restricted to the innocent landscape and the participants themselves. However, if you do want to play along, your characters might notice a few things. ( Details behind cut. )

Things should heat up around Friday afternoon/evening US Eastern time and be done the same day.
