This? This is Harry Lockhart, from Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. He's a bit on the how-did-you-survive-this-long-on-your-own side of things, but damn if he doesn't just try his little heart out. He's basically "just a nine-fingered, arithmetic-challenged, grammar-butchering, literature-misquoting thief-actor-detective from New York City." He's post film, circa the point where he was narrating from, since otherwise he wouldn't be a PI.
